companion will be a Porsche. You’ll also

get to enjoy the company of other

Porsche enthusiasts heading for the

same destination as part of your group.

Leave your everyday life behind, whether

it’s for several hours or several days. The

choice is yours. This has been our phil

osophy – for almost 20 years.

We hope you enjoy browsing our new

range of driving tours. If you have any

further questions, our experts will be

pleased to provide professional assist

ance based on the knowledge that they

you get to explore three of the most

inspiring European capitals.

the other hand, takes you through two of

Germany’s most picturesque winegrowing

regions. Or you can enjoy a culinary

journey that also takes you right back to

the origins of the Porsche brand on our

new Porsche Tour Via Culinaria.

On all of our routes, you’ll stay at some of

the world’s finest hotels and dine at some

of the best restaurants. Every tour we

offer has one common goal: to meet the

very highest of requirements – for your

complete satisfaction.

We take responsibility for all organisa

tional aspects of the tours, including the

provision of a Porsche vehicle. You will

also be accompanied by experienced

guides who speak German, English and a

number of other languages available upon

and a registration form can be found

online at www.porsche.com/travelclub.

Discover the exhilarating feeling of driving

a Porsche on a range of one or two day

Porsche Shortbreaks, as well as exciting

Porsche Tours lasting up to a whole week.

Or you can try one of our Porsche

Adventure Tours. Lasting up to eleven

days, they are ideal for those looking for

an actionpacked holiday rather than a

quiet spot on the beach.

New this year is the Porsche Adventure

Tour of Romania. A journey through a

country full of contrasts and impressive

roads and mountain passes. The

programme also includes the Porsche

Adventure Tour of Namibia, which takes

you through the country’s desert and

nature reserves.

Dear guests,

dear Porsche enthusiasts,

Whether on the road, on the track, on

snow or ice – taking to the wheel of a

Porsche is always a pleasure. The

Porsche Driving Experience offers you

three opportunities to live out your

passion for dynamic driving: with the

Porsche Travel Club, the Porsche Sport

Driving School or the Porsche Driving

Experience Winter. All three offer unfor

gettable driving experiences based on the

same philosophy. Taking you to a very

special destination: behind the wheel of

a Porsche.

The only difference is how. While the

Porsche Travel Club combines driving a

Porsche along extraordinary routes with a

high level of exclusivity, the Porsche Sport

Driving School focuses on finely honing

your driving skills. Alternatively, the

Porsche Driving Experience Winter helps

you to improve your vehicle control on

snow and ice.

Stuttgart and Leipzig. Two cities with a wealth of history. For Porsche they are even more significant – they are where our vehicles are built. This is where automotive dreams become a reality. To find out how this happens, you can take a tour of both factories. Witness first hand how driving pleasure is created – step by step. And, of course, how it feels – mile after mile.

Your itineraryThe first highlight awaits you immediately

upon arrival in Stuttgart: a tour of the

factory to witness how a Porsche is

assembled. This is followed by a visit to

the Porsche Museum for a journey through

the captivating history of the company,

including lunch at the Christophorus

Restaurant.

A little later, it’s time to take to the wheel

yourself for the drive along a variety of

roads to Würzburg – an ideal opportunity

to explore the driving dynamics of your

Porsche. Your destination for the night:

Schloss Steinburg Hotel, which sits in

splendour overlooking the city of

Würzburg.

After breakfast, you set off for Leipzig along

the winding roads through the Thuringian

Forest to Eisenach, stopping for lunch in the

restaurant at the famous Wartburg Castle.

This impressive building has been a site of

UNESCO World Cultural Heritage since

1999. Equally exhilarating: the onward

journey through the magnifi cent Saale Valley

en route to your destination on this leg of

the tour: the Steigenberger Grandhotel

Handelshof in Leipzig. Relax over dinner in

the evening in the brasserie of this

traditional establishment.

What do Stuttgart and Leipzig have in common? Pure, unadulterated driving pleasure.

rightly so. After arrival at Porsche Leipzig,

you enjoy another factory tour to follow the

to the driver’s seat. Towards noon, you

arrive at the Eremitage and Old Palace

close to Bayreuth for some fine dining in

regal surroundings. Savour the last few

miles of unlimited enjoyment behind the

The final legal of the tour takes you back to

Germany. Break for a delicious lunch at the

Landgasthof Adler restaurant in Rammingen,

before returning to Ludwigsburg ready for

your individual journey home. Although this

is certain to be the last thing on your mind.

You’ll see why when you check in at your

magical abode for the night: The Kempsinki

Grand Hotel des Bains St. Moritz. The level

of service and comfort at this deluxe hotel

is beyond words. You’ll get to experience

this right from the start during an exclusive

champagne reception, followed by dinner.

Back in the driver’s seat again, the next day

takes you over the Ofenpass and along

exciting serpentines towards Meran. Stop

for lunch at the Castel Fragsburg restaur

ant, before continuing through the Ötz

Valley and along the Timmelsjoch to Telfs.

There’s plenty of opportunity to experience

pure enjoyment behind the wheel – mile

after mile. Your stay at the InteralpenHotel

Tyrol is also guaranteed to be a memor able

one, not least because of its enchanting

panoramic setting or dinner in the evening

at the hotel’s stylish restaurant.

The Alps offer a spectacular slalom route along meandering mountain roads. Largely removed from the popular tourist circuit, you travel in a Porsche through challenging twists and turns and over breathtaking mountain passes, such as the Julierpass or Timmelsjoch. Explore the rugged charm and unspoilt scenery of the Alps, as well as delightful destin-ations such as St. Moritz and Meran.

Your itineraryArrive in Ludwigsburg, before setting off

towards Switzerland – to the delight of

both yourself and your Porsche. Sample

the culinary specialities on offer at the Alte

Rheinmühle restaurant in Büsingen on the

Upper Rhine, where you can also enjoy

views of the river.

Afterwards, you continue through Winterthur

and past Lake Walensee towards Chur. The

last part of the journey is guaranteed to

inspire: the route along the Julierpass to

St. Moritz. For years this chic ski resort has

provided a meeting place for the inter

national jet set.

Finally, it’s time to savour the last few

miles in your Porsche on the return journey

to Ludwigsburg where the tour ends.

Situated right on the Moselle Esplanade,

this historical building offers all the

modern comforts you could need to round

off your day in relaxing and sumptuous

style – along with a wealth of culinary

highlights.

The next day, you take to the wheel again

and head for Koblenz. Along the way, you

pass the ‘German Corner’ at the conflu

ence of the Rhine and Moselle. After lunch

at the Schiller Restaurant, you take the

ferry across the Rhine at St. Goar. From

here, the tour continues through the

wonderful Rheingau region to Eltville.

Spend the night at the Hotel Kronen

schlösschen – unquestionably the finest

residence in the area. History, art, culinary

delights and wine – discover the finest

aspects that the Rheingau has to offer.

The highlight on the third leg of the tour

is, without doubt, the drive along the

Rhine Terraces Route to Ketsch. However,

lunch at the Die Ente restaurant at the

See Hotel Ketsch is also something that

the connois seurs amongst you will

remember for a long time to come.

The Moselle Valley and the Rheingau. Two of Germany’s top wine-growing regions, named after the rivers of the same name, the Rhine and Moselle, which converge at the famous ‘German Corner’ (Deutsches Eck). However, these two areas have much more in common than water and fine wines alone. They are also renowned for their wonderful esplanades and magnificent countryside. In particular, when travelling along the banks of the two rivers – at the wheel of a Porsche.

Your itineraryArrive in Ludwigsburg to collect your

Porsche for the tour. The first few miles

en route to Hayna will give you ample

opportunity to put the car’s driving

dynamics to the test. Stop for a lunch of

regional specialities in the Pfälzer Stube

at the Hotel Restaurant Krone, before

continuing on to your destination for the

The Porsche Travel Club combines driving a Porsche with fascinating travel destinations around the world, stopping at many places of interest along the way for a truly memorable driving experience. This includes a selection of tours in the Far East, through China – the Land of Smiles. You’ll soon find out how the country earned its nickname. From the people. From the scenery. And from behind the wheel.

All tours available from Porsche Travel Club China also offer an additional programme for familiarising you with Chinese road practices and enabling you to apply for a driving licence. On request, this can be combined with a three day tour to Beijing, including a visit to the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall of China.

Porsche Tour of Shangri-La. A journey through the diversity of China.

Yunnan is a province in southern China with a wealth of breathtakingly beautiful nature, a variety of different cultures and picturesque towns and villages that look back on a long history. One of the most fascinating aspects is the many contrasts that this region has to offer: natural landscapes ranging from snow-covered mountains to valleys abundant with tropical vegetation – a paradise for flora and fauna. The people are as interesting and varied as the country-side itself, enriching life in the towns and villages with their traditional songs and dances. A cultural diversity that is sure to delight when you stop off in the picturesque small towns of Dali and Lijiang. Especially with the right travelling companion: a Porsche Cayenne. Together, you can explore a route which continuously switches between steep curves and long stretches of road.

Your itineraryIndividual travel, followed by the transfer

to your hotel in Lijiang. Soak up the

relaxing atmosphere in your comfortable

accommodation in preparation for an

eventful few days ahead.

On the first day, your route takes you past

an impressive panorama to the old town

of Dali. More than 3,000 years old, this

culturally and historically significant town

offers a wealth of wideranging impres

sions. Afterwards, the tour continues to

Shuanglang on the northeastern shores of

Lake Erhai. Savour a lunch of regional

specialities, before heading back to

Lijiang in the afternoon. Spend the

evening exploring the old town and

familiarising yourself with the ancient

culture of the Naxi people.

The most exciting thing about an ancient culture: exploring uncharted territory.

journey: Songzanlin Temple in the impres

sive Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Nearby is your destination for the night: a

fivestar hotel where you will be treated to

a selection of Tibetan specialities in the

evening.

After a good night’s sleep, the tour

continues along enthralling panoramic

roads through the Napahai nature reserve.

The memory of its unspoilt beauty is

certain to stay with you for many years to

come. Equally stunning is Pudacuo

National Park, which offers breathtaking

views of a virtually unspoilt landscape.

The next day brings your tour of China to

a close. Return transfer to the airport for

Through its pioneering developments in the

field of highperformance tyres, Michelin is

Every Porsche is guaranteed to have

due in no small part to the fact that

specific tyres are manufactured for each
