UPN "Veteran" Jatim has declared itself as a

campus that implement no smoking area

which based on:

PP No. 109 Tahun 2012 tentang Pengamanan

bahan yang mengandung zat adiktif berupa

produk tembakau bagi kesehatan

Perda Nomor 5 tahun 2008 tentang kawasan

tanpa rokok dan terbatas merokok.

Since declared in the 2010 to 2015, the

results are less encouraging

Many people still smoke in campus area.

Today in the world there were an estimated 1.26

billion smokers.

Every day about 80-100 thousand young people

in the world become addicted to cigarettes.

Indonesia is ranked 5th in the world tobacco

consumption, and ranked seventh as a producer

of tobacco.

Smoking activity becomes one of the symbols of

pride or maturity for a group of teenagers.

Survey and research are needed

The goals of the research are:

To analyze the implementation of no smoking area

in UPN Jatim.

To get accurate advocation model that can be

implemented in order to build non smoking culture

in UPN veteran Jatim.

Penelitian ttg Gambaran sikap

mahasiswa unpad terhadap kawasan

tanpa rokok di kampus unpad

disimpulkan sikap mahasiswa unpad

terhadap KTR di kampus unpad terbagi

ke dalam 4 kategori sangat positif :

(40.3%) positif, 44,2 cenderung positif,

11,7, netral. 3,2% cenderung negatif.

(0,6%) negatif.

Penelitian ttg perilaku merokok di kawasan

tanpa rokok oleh Ari Lestari disimpulkan tidak

ada hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang

KTR dengan perilaku merokok mahasiswa. Ada

hubungan anatara sikap tentang KTR dengan

Perilaku merokok mahasiswa. Tidak ada

hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap

KTR pada mahasiswa.

Realizing of no smoking area in UPN Jatim

campus environment is not an easy job.

The consequences of a ban on smoking

activities in campus not only prohibits

students, staff and lecturer to not smoke,

but also against anything associated with

cigarette, including trading activity and

tobacco promotional activities in many forms

Readiness UPN Jatim to became one of

campus without a cigarette in Surabaya in

tune with the wishes and support of the

academic community (71,9%). Most of them

agree with this program

application of the smoking area was scrolled

on the beginning of the month January 2010

However, after the program runs for six years

less, there is no significant improvement.

Precisely results obtained less than half of the

academic community (48.5%) are aware of the

stipulation UPN East Java as a campus without a

cigarette.

Sanctions are an important part in the law.

there is no point in entering obligation or

prohibition when the rules of behavior can

not be imposed by the leadership as acting

Most (50.6%) of respondents academicians

UPN East Java, said hesitation by the

commitment and courage lead in cracking

down on offenders who smoke in the campus

area. Even more than 31.1% of the

respondents unanimously leadership did not

have the commitment and courage in taking

action against abuses in this region without

cigarettes.
