Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
2 cups cheddar cheese cubed (good quality or sharp)
InstructionsCook elbow macaroni in boiling, lightly salted water per package directions for al dente; drain
(don't rinse) in a colander, set aside.
In the pasta pan melt butter; blend in flour; stir until golden brown about 2 minutes. Then slowly
whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
Add cheddar cheese; stir in until melted. Toss in the cooked elbow macaroni, blending well.
Turn cheesy mixture out into a lightly buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 35-40
minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges.

Ingredients
5 cloves garlic, minced1 medium onion, chopped1/4 cup margarine2 pcs green bell pepper, cubed1 6oz can tomato paste
1/2 k ground beef1/4 k spiced ham, diced2 pcs 11g MAGGI Beef Broth Cube, crushed1 tbsp soy sauce1/2 tsp marjoram1/2 tsp paprika1/2 tsp oregano1 8oz can tomato sauce2 tsp sugar or to tastesalt and pepper to taste1 400g pack elbow macaroni cooked1 170g can NESTLÉ Cream1 1/2 cups cheese, grated
Procedure
1. Sauté garlic and onions in margarine. Add bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes.2. Add in the tomato paste. Saute for 1 minute. 3. Stir in ground beef, spiced ham, and MAGGI Beef Broth Cubes. Season with soy sauce, herbs, and spices (marjoram, paprika, oregano). Cook meat until done. 4. Pour in the tomato sauce plus 1 cup water and simmer until thick. Adjust seasonings to taste. 5. Stir in cooked noodles to meat sauce. Remove from heat and pour in NESTLÉ Cream. 6. Arrange in a pyrex dish; top with grated cheese and bake at 300 degrees F for 20 minutes or until cheese has melted.
