PN Universe welcomes members and the public for Informal Paranormal Radio at 10pmWe invite our members as well as the public to join us for a new weekly radio program hosted by John Rossi and Mike Jones that features relevant topics and issues in a very informal atmo-sphere. Members are encouraged to join in the chat room, call in for “pop-in” guest appearances, and to have an educationally fun time! Members, want to try co-hosting? No problem! Just let us know! This program will not replace our regular radio pro-
gram on Thursdays, but occasionally special guests will be sched-uled. This is an opportunity for members to “let their hair down a little,” join in, learn, share and enjoy the process!

I typically ignore what the hardcore skeptics have to say about the paranormal field. A healthy dose of skepti-
cism is good for any type of scientific endeavor in order to keep things bal-anced, but many times the hardcore skeptics have an axe to grind and will argue just for the sake of arguing. I will admit, however, that I will frequently read skeptical magazines and view skeptical websites just to see what is going on with the other side as well as to keep myself grounded.

The p.i.r.g. reporTed ThaT:A poll of 4,000 people from across the United States, released on Wednesday, December 09, 2009 found that three-in-ten Americans say they have felt in touch with a dead person and 18 percent say they have seen or been in the presence of a ghost.

We want to see your photographs of ghosts!This week, we are encouraging members to submit their photos of ghosts! These can be real, unedited photos or you can try to trick us with a doctored image. Photos submitted will be put in the next newsletter and fellow members can guess if your photo is “fact” or “fiction.” The reveal will happen the following week when photos will be in the newsletter again with votes beside each image for fact or fiction and of course, we’ll tell you if you guessed right!
E-mail your entry to Jessica at [email protected] with the subject:fact oR fiction
Please be sure to mention in your email who took the photo and whether or not you’ve added the ghost yourself (don’t worry - I won’t tell!).
Photos must be submitted by Sunday, November 21, 2010.
