Providence High School Bands and Orchestras Dear Band and Orchestra Families:

We have exciting news for you! A spring trip is being planned for New York, NY this April 11 – 15. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child. Educational travel adds further context and substance to classroom material and reinforces concepts learned throughout the school year. School trips form long-lasting positive memories for students. This trip is being planned and organized by Trip Composers, an educational travel company that specializes in student tours.

Highlights of the trip include:

● Statue of Liberty Boat Tour ● Radio City Music Hall Stage Door Tour ● Broadway Show Admission (show TBD) ● Boston Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall with guest artist Yo-Yo Ma ● Planetarium Show at the Museum of Natural History ● Double Decker Bus Tour of Manhattan

If your child is interested in participating in this exciting event, please complete the Trip Enrollment form (online) and include a printed copy of the confirmation email with your first deposit of $185 no later than 09/20/17. The total cost of the trip will be finalized once transportation needs are determined and will be reflected in the January payment. The final payment is not expected to exceed the price of the other deposits.

The following is the required payment schedule:

● 09/20/2017 - $185.00 ● 10/23/2017 - $185.00 ● 11/20/2017 - $185.00 ● 01/05/2017 – Trip balance depending on number of charter busses needed

STUDENTS: Please make out your checks for your deposits to “Trip Composers, LLC”.

Parents interested in being chaperones should submit the Trip Enrollment Form and their initial deposit of $185 by 09/20/17. Please make your check out to Providence High School Band Boosters. We are working with the company on a reduction in the total cost for chaperones and will know more once we see the total enrollment.
