We welcome all who are celebrating with us
this weekend. If you are new to the parish,
please contact the office so we may greet you
properly. There are also Welcome Packets
available in the Gathering Space.
Sacrament of Matrimony Congratulations on your upcoming marriage.
Couples must contact Fr. Weisenberger at least
six months before the proposed wedding date.
Sacrament of Baptism Congratulations on the newest member of your
family! Parents wishing to have their child
baptized are asked to contact Fr. Weisenberger
to make an appointment for pre-baptismal
instruction.
Pastor’s Note…
Alleluia! Alleluia! Resarexit sicut dixit. Alleluia!
Alleluia! He is risen as He promised. Alleluia!
This ancient Easter
proclamation expresses the
reality we celebrate today
and throughout the Season
of Easter. God the Son
entered into the deepest
weakness and suffering
possible for humans and
has risen victorious. This
victory is not His alone, but
one we all share. The 50
day long Easter Season
invites us to participate in
Christ’s Triumph. Let us joyfully accept this
invitation.
Easter is especially linked to Baptism because in
Baptism we sacramentally die with Christ and rise
to new life with Him. Therefore on all the Sundays
of the Easter Season, culminating on Pentecost
(June 9 this year) we will celebrate the sprinkling
rite in place of the Penitential Act.
May this glorious Easter Day and Season help us
to cast off deeds of darkness and live in the light of
Christ.

help with the purchase of food. 450-475 children lunches are needed
for 5 days, meaning 2,270-2,375 lunches. Please be generous!
Cemetery Decorations All grave decorations must be in line with the monument
foundation so as to not interfere with mowing or care of the grounds.
Artificial flowers are not permitted in the cemetery from April 16
through October 31. However, artificial flowers will be allowed in the
cemetery from May 23 through June 10 for the observance of
Memorial Day. Flowers, wreaths, funeral designs and other objects

Pro-Life Corner Please pray the following prayer every day for an end to abortion
and for the unborn babies…“Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very
much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have
spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.” -Prayer of the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
Pro-Life Notes
“Life is a Gift From God. The Church’s teaching on the dignity of
human life is clear. “Human life” states the Catechism of the
Catholic Church, “must be respected and protected absolutely from
the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence,
a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a
person—among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being
of life.” Denver Archbishop Samual J. Aquila - January 22, 2013
