Fraternitas: A program for boys in 6-8th grades. These are monthly gatherings held at Cathedral Prep on the third Saturday of the month from 1-5 pm with Catechesis, sports and Sunday Vigil Mass. Jeremiah Project: A discernment group for public and Catholic high school students. Any young man of high school age is welcome. It is a monthly overnight, to experience Christ through fraternity and prayer. The overnights are held at Cathedral Seminary. Our remain-ing overnight encounters are April 6-7 and May 4-5.

I’m not holy enough to be a priest. No, you’re not. Get over it! No priest who ever lived was worthy! But through God’s grace, those who are called share in the priesthood of Jesus Christ. Of course you are not ready to be a priest now; that is what the years of seminary training are for. Give your weaknesses to God and trust that over time, you will grow in virtue.

Today is Divine Mercy Sunday.

The Divine Mercy chaplet is prayed in our church every Friday morning

after the 8:30 am Mass, except on first Fridays

when we have Holy Hour with

Benediction.

Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament was a Polish Roman Catholic nun and mystic. Her apparitions of Jesus

inspired the Roman Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy

and earned her the title of "Apostle of Divine Mercy."

Men’s Ministry Tuesdays 7:30 pm

Join the men of Our Lady of Grace and St. Helen parishes as they read and discuss the upcoming week-end’s Scripture readings. They meet every Tuesday at 7:30 pm-9:30 pm for Christian fellowship with a desire to deepen our understanding of faith and our belief in Jesus Christ. Meetings alternate between both parishes on a weekly basis. For information or for their schedule, please call Deacon Alex at: 917-214-0760.

Any family who would like to host the “Vocation Chalice” and pray for priests and religious vocations is asked to sign up after

Mass on Sundays or call the rectory weekdays between 9:30 am- 4:30 pm.

OUR LADY OF GRACE YOUTH MINISTRY

The Youth Group meets Fridays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Ages: Middle School (Grades

6-8) and teens from 9th grade and up.

The Youth Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 in the convent.

For more information regarding our Youth Ministry,

please contact Steven Eriquez at 917-836-4985.

Scripture Sharing Resumes

Arise Together in Christ - Season IV is over. All participants had a wonderful faith-filled experience. However, learning about Jesus

through Scripture does not end with Arise. Every Tuesday at 7:15 pm in the convent, Scripture Sharing takes place. It’s the time we focus on the upcoming Sunday readings and compare them to situations in our own life. All are invited. The only thing you need is the desire to learn more about Jesus. So if you skipped Arise, now is your chance to get on board and find out what all the participants of Arise are talking about. It is never too late to start awakening yourself up to Scripture reading. Don’t let that beautiful light go out! Join us every Tuesday evening starting April 10th at 7:15 in the convent to keep that flame burning!

The Rosary Society will hold their meeting today in the auditorium after the 10:00 am Mass. All are welcome!

Our “Second Sunday Social” takes place TODAY in the Community Room,

following the 10:00 am Mass. Please join us for coffee, tea

and refreshments!

Please answer the call to feed the hungry, welcome strangers, visit the sick and imprisoned, honor our elders,

celebrate the Eucharist and educate and make disciples of all nations!

If in the past you had made a pledge to the Annual Catholic Appeal, you should already have received a commit-

ment card in the mail. If not, below is a commitment form that you can use. I ask that you prayerfully consider

supporting this year’s campaign. If you have not yet had the opportunity to make a pledge, please look for

commitment information in our church vestibule.

For questions regarding the Annual Catholic Appeal, or to schedule an appointment to make a
