The Move-In Day schedule varies depending on your assigned residence hall. Room

assignments will be available on June 1st at www.flagler.edu/reslife and click on Current

Student Information tab. Keep checking the website if you don’t see yours yet!

You may arrive any time during your assigned time period listed below. However, after unloading, please move all vehicles from the parking lots.

Academic Sessions = Incoming students will be assigned to a specific academic session where full-time faculty will lead discussions on various topics including the summer reading, transitioning to college, and expectation of college level work.

Social Events = Students are invited to all the social events during the week. The purpose of these events is to facilitate interaction with other new students in a fun and exciting setting. (See Social Event Handout)

PARENT ORIENTATION- SESSION 1 (STUDENTS DO NOT ATTEND)

Students and parents will have time to meet with Student Accounts to address any issues or concerns with their financial status.

There are two identical Parent Orientation sessions scheduled today, pick only one session. Parents will hear from the Administration about the College in a relaxed, comfortable setting. Parents are invited to mingle in the lobby after the session to network with other Flagler parents and the Administration.

Students can get Student ID Cards made, pick up mailbox key, turn in Health Services form, and get Disney Trip t-shirt.

PARENT ORIENTATION - SESSION 2 (STUDENTS DO NOT ATTEND)This is an identical Parent Orientation session as in the morning.

An introduction to Title IX, Campus SAVE Act,Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and sexual harassment.

FINAL ROOM VISIT AND DINNERThe administration will be available to answer any additional questions and there will be an opportunity to make one last trip to your students room before dinner.

CROSSING THE LINE (REQUIRED EVENT)

CASINO NIGHT - PRIZESCome and try your hand at blackjack, poker, roulette, and Texas Hold’em. We will provide the chips and you can win the prizes! There will also be video games, crafts, and karaoke.
