Grade- Pre- Primary

Graduation Day Celebration

Graduation is an exciting time as it is both an ending and a beginning. It is the warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future”. The Graduation Ceremony for the Sr.Kg students was organized on March 12, 2018. The Graduation Ceremony started with the performance of Sr.Kg students on the selected rhymes which left everybody spell bound with their performance. The class teachesr felicitated the students with graduation caps, Certificate of Graduation and a small memento. Children looked all pretty in their graduation caps. The program ended with the vote of thanks by the Class teacher.

Show & Tell Activity

A show and tell activity was conducted for Nursery class where children brought their favourite transport and spoke a few lines about it.

A show and tell activity was conducted for Nursery class on February 01, 2018 where children brought their favourite insect and spoke a few lines about it.

Grade- Jr. Kg

Show & Tell Activity

A show and tell activity was conducted for Jr. Kg class where children brought their favourite object and spoke a few lines about it. They were very excited to speak about their favourite objects.

Show & Tell Activity

A show and tell activity was conducted for Sr. Kg class where children brought their favourite food item and spoke a few lines about it. They also spoke how and from what it is made of.

Young Achievers

Young Achievers for Sr. Kg was organized on Saturday, March 3, 2018 where students got a platform to showcase their talent. Students gave fabulous performance in Art, Music, Dance and Recitation. They surprised us with their superb energy and confidence.

Picnic to Appu Ghar

NMS organized fun filled picnic for Grade I students. The picnic was organized in Appu Ghar.The children enjoyed the various joy rides and relished the food. It was a fun filled day for the children as well as the teachers.

Experiment Week

The experiment week for Grade I was conducted in the second week of February. The children prepared and conducted experiments based on interesting topics. They showed commendable skills in presenting the experiments with a proper introduction, conduction and conclusion. The children got to learn new facts and used the already learnt concept in innovative ways to present their experiments. It was a fun filled week where every child emerged as an outstanding scientist.

Grade- IVocal Music Presentation

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”To revive the old childhood songs young minds through music, a vocal music competition was organized for the students of Grade I on February 28, 2018. Famous songs like Nani teri morni, Ichak dana, Aaloo Kachaloo and many more were sung by the students. It helped them to portray their singing talent and at the same time enjoy.

The English Recitation Competition

The English Recitation Competition for Grade I was conducted on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Every class presented a different poem. Props were used to add colour and give meaning to the poems. Children enjoyed the beauty of rhyme, rhythm and expressions with the variety of topics like Seasons, I Often Wonder Why, I promise, Water O’ Water, Air etc. were presented with full enthusiasm. Winners were applauded and there were giggles all around.

Young Achievers

The Young Achievers for Grade I & II was held on Saturday, March 03, 2018 on the theme Holi / Spring. A series of events like Dance, Solo song, Recitation, Skating, etc were organized for the students. Children showcased their talents enthusiastically and spread the

Club Activities

Students of Grade 1 to 4 participated in different club activities like - Speech & Debate club and Math fair club. They came dressed up as the leader of our country and also enjoyed in the math fair club where they participated in lots of hands on activities related to the concepts learnt in class.

Experiment Week

‘Young students who play with science activities may find science magical, but these also incorporate many valuable lessons.’ The experiment week conducted from February 12 to 16 for Grade II proved to build a strong foundation. Children performed a variety of experiments and showed signs of young and upcoming scientists in them.

General Knowledge Quiz·

General Knowledge Quiz was organized for Grade II on Friday, February 02, 2018. The event was to encourage and motivate the students to be aware of their surroundings and to test their sharpness and recollection power. Students came prepared and performed exceptionally well.

Annual Sports Day· ·

The fantastic turnout from parents and the weather were the perfect boost for students of Grade II on their Annual Sports Meet organized on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath taking ceremony followed by an energized drill which set the tone for the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for our young athlete to compete in skill based races, spirit and relay.

Vocal Music Presentation· · “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”To revive the spirit of patriotism in the young minds through music, a vocal music competition was organized for the students of Grade II on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.Famous patriotic songs like Hum laayei hain toofan se, Rang de basanti chola, Aoo bacho tumhei dikhayei, Kandho se miltei hai kandhe and many more were sung by the students. It helped them to portray their singing talent and at the same time enjoy the spirit of patriotism.

Culmination Day - Rajasthan

· The classrooms of Grade II were brimming with excitement as the students celebrated the Culmination Day on 15th March on their ongoing EVS Unit - Rajasthan.The children were decked up in vibrant traditional attires and greeted 'Khamaghani' to each other. The delicious aroma of Rajasthani cuisine filled the air and a glimpse into the rich history of the state gave them a sense of pride.One could enjoy the folk dances, music, fairs and festivals of the state.Children also learnt about the physical features and wild life. It truely was a feast to the eyes and soul.

Annual Sports Day· ·

The much awaited Sports Day for Grade III was held on Saturday, February 17th, 2018. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. We began the oath taking ceremony. It was followed by drill exercise. Once the races began, the environment changed and there was a lot of cheering happening. All the participants completed their skill based races like Double Hoopla Skipping, Army Race and Passing through the Hoopla etc with true sportsmen spirit. The winners were given medals to boost their sportsman spirit.

Experiment Week·

Science Experiment Week was organized for the students of Grade IV & V where they made the Models based on application of simple machines in real life which was a subject enrichment activity.

G.K Quiz

G.K quiz was conducted on 2, Feb 2018. Children were divided into groups in different sections and they were asked questions on various fields like famous people, literature, sports, literature, science,literature etc. Children were full of excitement and it was a great fun filled learning experience.

Art Exhibition·

Art expression to showcase their journey of exploring various art mediums, elements of art, architectural art as well as folk art. They also studied development in art over centuries from cave paintings to wall murals and miniature paintings prevalent in India specially Jaipur. Close study of Renaissance period also helped them develop a comparison as well know about those golden years and the development in the field of creativity and art. Students took immense pride in painstakingly making their own art pieces and then inviting parents and informing them about the history, popular art forms, prominent artists, material and method required behind each art and artifact. It was indeed a very enthralling and motivating experience for all to see everyone taking back lovely memories.

Grade- 5

Annual Sports Day· ·

Neerja modi school has organised its 16th annual sports day for Grade VIII in Feb 2018. A much awaited energising event which was full of speed, coordination, team spirit and with the zeal to win the goal. Different races, hurdles and relays were the events that set the mind to participate. It was a wonderful event with great participation and a competition spirit among the four houses with the true spirit of sportsmanship.

School Carnival 2018

The school carnival was organised by the ‘Department of Archaeology

and Museums’ at ‘Albert Hall Jaipur’ on 9th Feb 2018. NMS students presented “India” through dance & orchestra. Programme started with Sufism in India, then Shivaji Era, Puppet Dance, Geendad Dance, Tarana & ended with the Finale Sauragini.

NMS students attended a one day Interactive Session with President of French Republic on Saturday, March 13, 2018.

NMS students met French President on March 10, 2018 in New Delhi. Shreshtha gifted a painting featuring France and India relations which has been featured in French Media. She has also received a letter of gratitude from them. Congratulations Shreshtha !!!!
