Meetings will continue during the week with Stage 1 on Wednesday at 5pm in Mrs Camerons’ Kinder room then Stage 3 in Mrs Cummings’ room at 5.30pm. These are a very important part of your child’s education as it gives parents and teachers the chance to get to know one another for the year ahead and to go through the expectations here at school as well as when at home. On Thursday we will be having our leader induction assembly. This will be a K - 6 assembly commencing at 12 noon and families are invited. Congratulations to the students who were successful in gaining positions of SRC, House Captains, Vice House Captain, Primary Class Captains, Library Monitors, Computer Monitors . They will receive their badges at the induction assembly. Friday winds up the week with our Primary Swimming Carnival. This is a compulsory school day and all primary students are to attend. A lot of organisation goes into the day so that all students, competitive and non swimmers all have a great day. Students can come dressed in their house colours and are encouraged to cheer their teams on. Remember all permission notes are electronic through our school app this year. The swimming carnival note has been published under the heading Swimming Carnival Permission Note, not under digital form as first stated. This will disappear Wednesday night from the app so needs to be signed before that date. Welcome to our new Kinders who started Friday and to their families. Education is a life long journey and we are happy you have chosen Mulyan Public School to start your child’s journey. It is so great to see all the Mulyan students in uniform and eager to learn each day. If as parents, you have any concerns, please arrange a convenient time to speak to the teacher or team leader. Often these are minor issues and can be dealt with in the class . Another contact is with Jacki Beale, our AP Wellbeing who deals with students who need extra support for learning and behaviour. Of course my door is always open and If you do need to make contact with me, please call the office 6342 2531 to make an appointment. Have a great week.
