SN Project Issues SEAC Recommendation

1. 239/2008 Shri A. Jain Director Rajshree Power & Ispat Pvt. Ltd. 201, Second Floor Lal Ganga Shopping Mall GE Road - Raipur (CH) 10 MW Biomass based Power Project at Vi-Choma Tehasil - Agar Distt. -Shajapur (M.P) - Prescribing of TOR for -EIA/EMP.

TOR has been issued to the PP for EIA of the proposed site, PP has requested that the site has been shifted to Kherkhedi from Choma in the same district (Shajapur), and EIA of the said site has been carried out, hence PP may be allowed to conduct PH at village Kherkhedi, accordingly amendment in TOR is requested by the PP.

PP has proposed to change the site from Village-Choma to Kherkhedi.Fresh application shall be submitted to SEIAA. For change of location in from I. Only after receiving the new application case for TOR will be considered.

After the deliberations SEAC has raised following queries, to be replied by the PP:

1) The analyses report has to be reviewed with respect to the units of the values.

2) Ore analysis from Govt. approved laboratory has to be furnished.

3) Leachate analyses reports of ore and soil have to be submitted.

4) Fund allocation with break-up for Social Responsibility has to be submitted.

22. 34/2008M/s. Hema Sri Agro-power Projects Ltd., Plot No. 19, Road, No. 2, Chandrapuri Colony, L-B, Nagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh20 MW Biomass Based Power Project at Vill. Magrora, Teh. Dabra, Dist Gwalior (M.P.) Prescribing of TOR for EIA/EMP. Query letter issued vide letter No. 253 dated 05/05/09.

Committee asked the PP to submit following documents:

1 Permission from irrigation department for lifting water from the river with permission from concerned department for laying pipe line.

2. If ground water is proposed for use permission from CentralGround Water Authority has to be furnished.

Regarding lifting of river water PP has submitted a consent letter from Irrigation Department. The letter however does not spell out the quantity of water that shall be allowed to be lifted from the river and the mode of lifting water from the river. An agreement signed with private land owners has been submitted by the PP, in this regard PP may be asked to clarify that no govt. land is involved while laying pipe line from river up to the site.





23. 43/2008M/s Bright Star Infrastructure (P)Ltd. TownshipHoshangabad Road, Bhopal

Query from SEIAA - The water demand for the project is 616 KL/day while CGWB its no objection certificate has permitted to draw only 153 KLD of water from two existing tube-wells, this show that there is a deficit of 463 KLD of water. PP has not produced any commitment from BMC regarding supply of water to the project.

Although PP has deposited amount towards 'Narmada Jal Upkar', a commitment from Municipal Corporation has to be submitted.

24.. Case No. 139/2008, 140/2008, 141/2008 & 142/2008

Applications were found to be incomplete. Project Proponents wereasked to re-submit the complete application for consideration of theirprojects.

Case no. 139/2008 has been re-submitted and received by SEAC as case no. 253/2008 the case has been issued TOR in the19th meeting dated 31/01/09. Thus the case no. 139/2008 may be de-listed. PPs’ of cases no. 140/2008, 141/2008 and 142/2008 have not submitted complete applications so far. The Committee has decided to send a last reminder to the PP of these cases for submission of complete application.
