SEAC, founded in 1971 in Italy, is a leading company for the world of underwater activities. Founded as a workshop for the production of metallurgical arrows and tridents for spear guns, SEAC has recognized the strong need for a full range of products for diving. SEAC enters the new millennium as one of the worldwide leader in the industry, designing, producing and distributing any item essential to activities such as diving, free diving, snorkeling and swimming. Projects of this kind are not realized in a day, but with long-term commitment, competence, ability and unending passion that have distinguished the company since the beginning.

In July 2012 SEAC finally opened doors in the States as the SEAC USA Corporation. The opening of the headquarters in New York, supported by the company’s key policies of quality and growth, has been proven to be an excellent choice.

Today, design, development and prototypes at SEAC are all Italian and unique,with control over the finished product done manually. Each piece is checked and tested as a unit in a meticulous manner. The company policy is to be able to combine quality with the most optimal price that caters to the current market interest in diving.

As a part of its 40th anniversary, Seac invested in a development project for its regulators to make them the highest performing and most reliable regulators in the world. This project began with the installation of a new department exclusively for our regulators, equipped with cutting-edge technology. This new department ensures that the process of building a new regulator, from assembly, through calibration and inspection, is seemless. This jewel in the Seac crown consists of two ANSTI machines, the most recent of which has been updated according to the latest EC EN250 standards, and can be used for dynamic testing both on dry land as well as in water. dx 200The ideal combination for all those who want maximum performance associated with versatility and light weight. The first stage, lightweight and with reduced size, ensures constant performance even at great depths and low tank pressure. Scored 0.79 (with only 0.14 on the intake) on the ANSTI machine at a depth of 164 feet (50 meters). This configuration makes it possible to regulate the intermediate pressure from the outside. The new balanced second stage is adjustable with metal components featuring an innovative and avant-garde design ensures impeccable performance and maximum breathing ease.

Mx 200The new balanced-diaphragm first stage was designed and engineered specifically to reduce weight and size. The inner mechanics are completely waterproof thanks to the diaphragm and double seal. The balancing system guarantees the same intermediate pressure, even with the drop in tank pressure maintaining second stage performance stability for the entire duration of your dive. The latter which is mechanically balanced like the DX200 ensures maximum performance and functionality for the easiest and most natural breathing possible.

The Icaro Tech buoyancy compensator has already been awarded the reddot Award Product Design in 2007 as “The best of the best”, and has been updated with a newer design and more functional aspects. Frame to Back Evolution system with horseshoe shoulder straps adjustable to 3 positions.

The Pro 2000 HD is a true hybrid BCD. The bladder adjusts to become either a traditional jacket-style BCD, or more of a back inflate system. It also features the Frame to Back Evolution system that allows the BCD to maintain its comfort and ability to adapt to various body shapes. The shoulder straps are anchored to the back plate above the shoulder, as well as at the back (on the latter, through a horse-shoe system with 3 adjustments). In addition to the highly visible features, it also has a hidden back-up pocket on one side and a hidden seating on the other. SEAC snorkel sets were created with three objectives in mind for the end user: high visibility, high durability & ease of breathing. Sets are available in two sizes to accommodate both the grown-ups and the little ones. Masks feature hypoallergenic silicone and tempered glass. Snorkels feature silicone mouthpieces and a wide bore for comfort and ease of breathing. Italian designed, these sets are ideally suited for a day at the beach, on the reef, or at the pool.
