Aviator/scientist Charles A. Lindbergh discovered how to oxygenize perfusion fluid with compressed oxygen.This was a good thing because doctors

could then use the fluid to replace lost blood in patients temporarily.

diabetes, who before went into comas or death when their blood sugar was at irregular levels, to have a regular life.
