Ash Wednesday – 2019
We will begin our Lent with Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, March 6th.
We will have Mass at 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, and the ashes will be dis-tributed at both Masses.
Please Note:
This is not a Day of Obligation; but it is a
DAY OF FASTING and ABSTINENCE.
On Ash Wednesday , all who are between 18-59 supposed to observe Fasting and Abstinence that is, you may eat only one full meal this day, other meals should be light meals, and no meat of any kind should be eaten! (The sick are exempted)
During the Lent: there will be a Holy Hour (Adoration) on all Wednesdays, from 6:00p-7:00 pm, followed by the Mass at 7:00 pm.
There will be “Stations of the Cross” on all
Fridays of the Lent starting at 7:00 pm. There will be adoration every morning
from 6:00 am—7:00 am with Bruce Beckman. All are Welcome to attend.
