At a Glance La Frontera Square by Tonti Properties is a high-end apartment community located in Round Rock, Texas, just outside of Austin. Nestled in the heart of Round Rock’s entertainment and shopping district, La Frontera Square offers residents luxurious units along with a full range of amenities in a thriving community.

ChallengeOffering high-end living to residents requires having a high quality telephone entry system that will keep up with user demands while simultaneously providing safety and security for residents.

The telephone entry system originally installed in La Frontera Square was consistently undergoing maintenance; panels were being frequently replaced and the system could not withstand its intended use. The original installation proved to be costly over time and inefficient.

The Mircom SolutionWhen choosing a security system, the customer established three important factors that go into the decision making process: reliability, system features, and ease of use for the end users. Having worked with Mircom for a number of years on successful projects in the past, WW Electronics Solutions trusted Mircom as the preferred vendor to retrofit La Frontera Square with a solution that will stand the test of time.

The existing system at La Frontera Square was replaced with Mircom’s TX3 Telephone entry system. A total of 16 telephone entry panels were installed.

The new system was also able to be installed with individual IP addresses for each panel; this removed the need for costly cable installation by integrating into the existing IP infrastructure, while adapting to the existing cable installation for use with the installation.

Located in Dallas, Texas, WW Electronics Solutions’ proximity to the project site proved to be invaluable in the timely and efficient completion of this project. Mircom technical support representatives were available for troubleshooting and support during the retrofit, ensuring the customer received full attention and assistance when it was most needed.

Conclusion

By installing Mircom’s TX3 telephone entry system, La Frontera Square now has a reliable and stable system that mirrors the high-end community in which it is housed and keeps up with user demands.
