“cloud” refer to it as computing delivered as a utility. Cloud computing is designed to give organizations a powerful, managed environment that has maximized resource utilization.
• A broader use of the term cloud computing can be divided into three categories:
–Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), –Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS),–Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
SaaS• What Is Software As A

Service-Oriented Architecture
Cloud tools• These tools are used by our global Cloud Team to ensure that all of
our systems are running smoothly and are optimized to serve our customers.
• The majority of the Cloud tools are web-based products, distributed under the GNU General Public License, written in PHP or Perl, and deployed on canned virtual appliance servers.
• We have written some custom tools and customized generic tools to our specific needs
• Other tools are vendor provided for specific needs such as firewall control, virtual environment systems, SAN management, etc.
