Dear Members and Guests,

When Joan Kroc saw hurting communities and children without hope, she had a vision for the San Diego Kroc Center. She believed there were children who could be Olympians if given the chance, and believed the future of those children and their neighborhood could be transformed. This summer will be our fourth anniversary and the year of the Summer Olympics. It is a true miracle to see children who started their path at the Kroc, getting offers to play basketball in college, win trophies on the Kroc swim team, compete in state diving competitions, and take first place in dance competitions. The talents that they possess from God are coming alive with the opportunities here at the Kroc Center.

It’s amazing to see Mrs. Kroc’s vision being realized as our kids achieve so much with the help of the Kroc Center, and not just kids but adults are reaching health goals, learning instruments and new skills. All of us are experiencing a better life because of the opportunities and new friends and family that we have at the Kroc. We hope that this summer will be an amazing one for you and your loved ones, and that the Kroc gives you a chance to experience a better life - a life filled with hope, love, health and peace.
