Snow was falling once more and the temperature was below freezing (and that’s the polite phrase for what it was), so it was only fitting that weopened Saturday’s Showcase with a piece of red hot news. Destination X is the vibrant, unique, opulent city of Hong Kong!

Plus, for the first time ever, this long-haul destination is open to EVERYONE in the entire Network. The minimum qualification is at Gold and thereare cash bonuses available for new Golds who maintain their position.

The NIA heated up as Distributors heard that they could be staying in this magnificent, sub-tropical city in just ten months time.

What an opening. What a destination. What a business!

It was an amazing start to the Showcase with the reveal of Destination X - Hong Kong, but we want all our beginningsto be amazing so we’re going all out to support your new starters this year.

“One of the major goals I have in place for Kleeneze is to grow our numbers by 5,000 distributors during 2010. This is amassive target I know, but why not?

There are more people than ever before looking for work and unemployment is forecast to rise still further. At this time ofyear many think about finally clearing their credit card bills or for some it might be some extra money to afford a littleluxury in life. Whatever it is, we have the Kleeneze solution.

2010 will be a year that changes people lives for good and for bad, let’s help as many people as we can change theirlives for the better. There’s an election coming up this year and no doubt there will be some major changes to tax and

earnings that we can’t even imagine yet.

2010 is set to be the year that the recession impacts people’s lifestyles. And Kleeneze is set to shout to the world that we are ready to helpeveryone change their lives for good.”

Jamie Stewart, Managing Director

So, it’s the year in which you will build and strengthen your business and we’ll be right behind you to offeryou all the support you need. First up, on Saturday, was the launch of the brand new Starter Kits to help allyour new recruits.

The new look Starter Kit is better than ever before. Style-wise, it’s been updated with a fresh new look toreflect the life changing opportunity that Kleeneze can offer. Gone is the old blue business manual, now youwill find four A5 booklets inside that will guide you through the business - in layman’s terms! The bookletsinclude a Quick Start Guide, Retailing, Building Your Kleeneze Business and Operations and Procedures. We’realso going to help your new starters build their team up straight away too with 5 copies of the new-lookcombined Opportunity DVDs & Opportunity Brochures, plus everything you usually get in a Starter Kit too.

NEW STARTER INCENTIVESThe new Kits are just the tip of the iceberg for what we have lined upfor our new starters in the New Year, because on Saturday we alsoannounced that we’re revamping the new starter incentives.

New starters now have 21 days from registration to hit 300 bonuspoints (in as many orders as it takes) to receive a free Retail Kit.

Then in their first full 4 week period, if they hit 650 bonus points theywill qualify for another free Retail Kit.

In their second full 4 week period, if they hit 650 bonus points theywill qualify for another free Retail Kit.

This sets some realistic targets for new Distributors in their firstfew weeks and replaces much-needed catalogues just when youneed them!

“We love the newcatalogues! They arrived onChristmas Eve, so on BoxingDay we made them up andgot them ready to drop thefollowing day. We dropped110 catalogues to some ofour customer base and justcouldn’t believe the resultswhen we went to pickthem up.

We got 36 orders and the total value came to £573.50. In that pick-up we had our highest order to date - £173.25 from one order!

It really is true, you do get massive orders between Christmas and theNew Year and the new catalogues work like magic! They look greatand the new products are fantastic. Our catalogues are money makingmachines. We just love this business - Happy New Year to everyone”

With a goal to grow Distributor numbers by distributors during 2010 some would say we would have our work cut out for us. However,Kleeneze has a secret weapon – another brand new advertising campaign!

“In September I revealed our first ever TV advert and I said that we expect to see three benefits from the TV exposure,” said MD Jamie Stewart atSaturday’s Showcase.

“One – your sales will increase as more people open the packs and order from you. Two – more people will request a copy of the catalogues.Three – sponsoring will increase as people’s awareness of a brand seen on TV will change their perception of the business.

This 4-week campaign was a trial to see what you and TV advertising combined can do together. If we saw growth, we’d give serious thought tobigger investment very soon. Well we tripled catalogue requests over the 4 week period and had responses from distributors of amazing ordervalues. And then - with sponsoring, during the 12 week period from September to end of November - we saw a steep change in distributornumber growth.

So, to support your team building through 2010 we are investing heavily in TV advertising and branding, and over the next 12 months we haveover £2million pounds worth of TV advertising planned, we will help you take this life changing opportunity to more people than ever before.”

The new TV ad, featuring distributorships Chrissy Sykes,Helen Kolbusz and Phil Lowe and Mark and Alison Bird, is atool for you to generate your own leads and bring morepeople into your team than ever before! Plus, in conjunctionwith the advert, we’re also testing a new medium ofadvertising with our first ever radio advert on Real Radio!

First airing on Monday 18 January, the advert is nowavailable as a link for you to email to all your friends andfamily at http://www.kleeneze.co.uk/tv

RAE GRAYTestimonial

Gold Distributor, Rae Gray had a turbulentlife story to tell. For four years she has beenbravely battling with a chronic anddebilitating pain condition. Debt andalcohol problems had plagued her yearsbefore and now with this terrible condition, she found herself virtually unemployable.

That was until she found Kleeneze. Thanks to thebusiness, it wasn’t only the debt problems thatwere eased – delivering catalogues found Raegetting fitter and even walking easier.

Hong Kong is on everyone’s agenda for this year, so it was up to ourNetwork stars to take the stage to help others qualify for thisamazing incentive and complete all their goals for 2010. And what ajob they did.

Geoff WebbIt was to be the first time our Silver SeniorExecutive Distributor, Geoff Webb, took to thestage as later in the day he went on to snapup the SED Challenge Cup! Opening thetraining, he took us through the baby steps ittakes to qualify for Destination X andcombining it with how to maximise the newTV advert, it seems as though really anyonecan do it!

Debra Pusey2009 was a fantastic year for our BronzeExecutive Distributor, Debra Pusey. Soaring upthe Sales Plan, she qualified for Cyprus in theprocess, and then continued to move onwardsand upwards. Her secret to success? Ensureyour team has a good structure. Her training

took the scary out ofsponsoring and hadus chomping at thebit to get out thereand build a team!

Dave BirtwistleIf you’ve set a goal for 2010 and are nowwondering how to achieve it looking towardSilver Executive Distributor, Dave Birtwistle

wouldn’t be a bad idea. Dave took his business to the heights last year, qualifying for everything in his path! He too has a secret to success, though, and that is focus. “Opportunities are there to be taken,” hesaid. “In 2010, grab every opportunity you can and run with it.”

Sharon AllsopThe same week that Gold Distributor SharonAllsop qualified for Cyprus, she also had herfinal accountancy exams and her wedding! Soif she had wanted an excuse not to put thework in and qualify for our AutumnDestination, she certainly had a few to choosefrom. However, wanting to use thequalification as a stepping stone onto biggerand better things, she flung herself intoactivity. “You must create good habits with

your activity every day,” she said. “That way even on a bad day I amstill taking responsibility for my actions and my future.”

Bob WebbThe master of dreaming big dreams andgoing on to actually achieve them closed theday in his usual inimitable style. Silver PrincipalExecutive Distributor, Bob Webb. Ok, so we’d managedto overcome the snowto get to the NIA. Phew.Challenge over, right?WRONG. On the day, itemerged that our guestspeaker – someonewe’d been chomping atthe bit to see – hadcancelled due to asore throat.

So, while DuncanBannatyne was tuckedup in bed suppingLemsip, the ConferenceOrganisers werefrantically phoningaround trying to getsomeone equallyamazing to give ourDistributors some spoton training. Challengeovercome, as the equallysuccessful Dragons’ Denpanel member – JamesCaan – hot-footed it up

from London to speak to the New Year Showcase audience.

And what a talk it was! His life story is actually not too dissimilar tothose starting up with Kleeneze! For instance, does any of this ringany bells?

When James decided he didn’t want to work in his father’s familybusiness making garments, his family were against him leaving and

setting out on his own with just £30 in his pocket.

He left school at the age of 16, with no qualifications, but a need toprove himself to the family who didn’t believe he could make it.

An interest in commission-based jobs led him to start working for arecruitment agency and he worked hard to pay the rent.

By the age of 19 he was working in financial services. His gift-of-the-gab meant he loved engaging with the candidates. When a womancalled Aisha, his future wife, turned down a job working there as shewanted to open her own boutique he offered to invest in her business. He had no savings, just a dogged determination to raise the £30,000needed. And he did.

A few years on and the boutiques were making around £12,000 amonth, but James still wanted to set up a business of his own. So hedecided to open his own recruitment business. He wanted to givepeople a Rolls Royce service, something that others did not. He lookedfor an office in Mayfair and, although he could only afford a broomcloset of a place, he had a grand address. Alexander Mann was born.

In 2002, Alexander Mann had a turnover of £130 million and Caansold it to a private equity firm.

Since then, Caan has gone on to co-found an executive headhuntingfirm with partner Doug Bougie, which they successfully expandedglobally through its Humana International brand, growing to over 147offices across 30 countries before it was bought by a New York-listedcompany. He also has set up the James Caan Foundation to helpchildren in both the western and developing world, as well as settingup many schools in his native Lahore in Pakistan. And, of course, thereason he shot to fame – the successful entrepreneur also earnedhimself a place on Dragons’ Den.

From £30 to multi-millionaire and all he accredits this to is belief, confidence and determination. If he can do it – what’s stopping you?!

Congratulations to our Head of Network Development, MichaelKhatkar, for ten year’s ‘service’ to the company. Honored with a cakeon stage – we later had him ‘arrested’ at the Gala Dinner for a laugh!Don’t worry, though, it was only by our amazing entertainment act,Opera on the Run, and Michael is happily back at his desk now and notrattling around in a cell in Birmingham…

“It was fantastic to see the company recognise ‘Mr Kleeneze’ himselffor 10 years service to the company. Michael Khatkar is a greatambassador for us, and the company name, and is always on hand tohelp us when he can. Although, perhaps ‘middle age’ may be gettingthe better of him, if he can’t even blow out a few candles now?!”

Andy Ridley, Bronze Executive Distributor

“Who needs Duncan Bannatyne when we’ve got our very ownMichael Khatkar?!”

Geoff Owen, Gold Executive Distributor

IF HE CAAN DO IT, SO CAN YOU!

THE WONDER OF YOU…

Sharon and Craig Davis,Bronze Executive Distributors

“It was a brilliant show, as always and it wasgreat to see our upline Mike and DawnGough getting their recognition for achieving10 active wide distributors. Plus theannouncement of Destination X – Hong Kong- wow! The speakers were very inspiring andwe loved James Caan.”

goes to show that nothing can stop aKleeneze distributor who’s focussed on theirgoal – not even snow and ice – you just haveto dress appropriately – and wellies are agreat solution to a snow-gala traveldilemma!”

Doug and Sandra Roper,Bronze Executive Distributors

“Thank you for yet another spectacularShowcase. Despite the appalling weather youcame through with more training andinspiration than ever before! DuncanBannatyne might have let us down, but youcertainly didn’t and James Caan was agreat replacement.

Distributors? We think you should be renamed ‘Troopers’. Thousands ofyou braved the icy roads and snow to join us on Saturday for ourexplosive launch into 2010. Unfortunately, overly treacherousconditions in some parts of the country meant that some physicallycouldn’t attend the Showcase, no matter how desperate they were tobe there.

However, here at Kleeneze, we like to embrace the challenges and so,for the first time ever, the Showcase went world wide as we broadcastlive on the Internet

“Friday 8 January, 4.30pm, and the panic sets in as the car windscreensplit into several long cracks! Next slot for a new one? Monday. FirstShowcase we’ve missed in years and we were totally gutted.

Woke up grumpy on Saturday morning, but at 10.30am the Blackberrybuzzes with an email from Kleeneze. “Showcase streaming live on theInternet.” Fantastic! It was home Showcase Sizzle time!

Congratulations on a great idea for anyone who couldn’t attend forunforeseen or personal reasons and would otherwise be there. Wethink this will also encourage others to get there and soak up theamazing atmosphere.

Thanks again for starting our New Year on a massive high.

Andy and Jane Martin, Silver Distributors

“Unfortunately we were unable to attend the Showcase on this

occasion, but watched the whole thing live on the Internet in our ownhome. What a brilliant idea.

We were glued to the screen the whole time. It was without a doubtthe best Showcase to date. The speakers were all inspirational and trulymotivational; the amount of prizes awarded was absolutely mind-blowing. Plus the cookery session was very enlightening andentertaining.

Congratulations to Bob Webb on his excellent talk and also to Gavinand Bonnie on becoming Distributors of the Year once again.

We were delighted to see that Destination X has now been confirmedas Hong Kong. We attended the last Kleeneze Conference there back inthe early 90s and it was a brilliant experience - not to be missed.

We both feel that our batteries have now been re-charged and lookforward to going onwards and upwards this year.

Barbara and Alan Peachey, Bronze Senior Executive Distributors

“I was really disappointed when I had to cancel Birmingham due tosnow, but I would just like to say how delighted I am that I can watchonline! It’s almost like being there.

Thank you for offering this as an alternative – I really appreaciated it.”

Susan Walton, Gold Distributor up in the frozen northeast of Scotland!

THERE’S SNOW BUSINESS LIKE KLEENEZE

The snow offered up some interesting challenges to both the Network and oursupplier Parcelforce. It seems that nothing’s going to stop you though and, evenbetter, you’re having a great time too!

“It took us 3 hours on Thursday to dig our car out onto the drive and a furtherhour on Friday, with the help of our neighbours, to clear the close so we could getto the Showcase. We were packed with our survival kit and set off early Saturdaymorning to pick up a team member, James Martin, who had cycled 3 miles tomeet us.

The Showcase was great and the boost everyone needed from the challenges ofthe last few weeks. However, when we arrived home we had another fantasticsurprise. Our Kleeneze order had arrived in perfect condition (most of our post hasbeen arriving through the letter box soaking wet!). It is packed and we are clearingthe snow from yesterday to get out and deliver the goods before the forecast of20cms arrives this evening.

Well done for a great Showcase and pass our thanks onto Parcelforce for a jobwell done!”Diane and Bob Goulding, Bronze Executive Distributors

“I would just like to say a massive thank you to all at Kleeneze. Parcelforce cametoday with the second part of my order…on a Sunday! Wow!”Belinda Clarke, Silver Executive Distributor

“According to the news this country has come to a standstill and snow has reachedthe top of the Old Trafford stands.

Nonetheless, my Kleeneze order that I put in on Tuesday, arrived on time. Welldone and a big thank you to the Kleeneze and Parcelforce staff who braved it intowork and got my order to me. This has enabled me to do my bit and deliver thegoods to our customers on the day I told them Iwould.”Mike Bradley, Silver Distributor

“Can you please pass on our deepest thanks to the staff at the Service Centre andthe wonderful guys at Parcelforce. Despite messages of delayed deliveries in thesedreadful weather conditions, the orders we placed on Monday and Tuesday thisweek have arrived today, Thursday, before 10am!”Sheelagh and Paul Humphries, Gold Distributors

Just wanted to send you a picture of our newest teammember, Camilla. We thought you should see this as wehave never seen such commitment and doggeddetermination from anyone. She turned up this morningready to go and deliver whatever the weather threw at her!”Mark and Alison Bird, Silver Distributors

“Just so you know, a little bit ofsnow isn’t going to put me off retailing! Bring it on!”Dave Reeve and Steph Bond, Silver Distributors

“We had to hunt a bit tofind banks open to payinto our account! However, a bit of snowdoesn’t stop us and ourcustomers are getting used to us collecting bookson the right day what ever the weather! After all 3inches isn’t worth getting excited about!”Gill and Jon Barry, Silver Distributors

“I heard that we were in for snow in our area thisweekend so I thought I’d just drop a few cataloguesnear my house to customers only. The results speak forthemselves; I put out 28 books and on foot in heavysnow I collected back in 25 including knocking on thedoors for them, I collected £102. Just over£4 per catalogue.”Nick Sassanelli, Silver Distributor

“Last year, I was sitting in a stuffy office with nowindow, just yearning to get out into the snow andhave some fun! Well, nothing stops us retailing now! Icollected catalogues in the snow using my son’s sledge and it was such fun, I hadto stop myself jumping in the snow and doing snow angels! It was such fun whilstearning our extra cash for Christmas!”Nicola Mitchell, Silver Distributor

A brrrrr-illiant week for Kleeneze and Parcelforce
