Sponsoring success, sales plan success and general summer success seem to bethe key phrases of Period 7. It’s been an unbelievable Period. The movement upthe Sales Plan has been huge compared to the same time last year (see page 7),

meaning that even more people are now destined for Vienna and the Caribbean.

01.08.08 Issue 31 ENTERPRIZE WEEKLY BULLETIN

This week, we can report that sponsoring is up a whopping 44% on this time last year and all this has happened since the SummerSizzler Incentive was launched two weeks ago. It proves, not only that the word is spreading that you can set up with Kleeneze for free(see DSA for more information), but also that this is the best time for sponsoring! The dreaded credit crunch is making everyone muchmore receptive to making some much-needed cash, and as we all know Kleeneze is the perfect opportunity to ease those moneyworries.

Of course, all of you have different ways and means of sponsoring people into your teams, so if you are currently trying out a newstrategy let us know at [email protected]. One team that has already told EWB about something that is working for them is theGlobal Horizons Group.

“After a recent conversation, it was brought to my attention that, if the average Kleeneze Distributor retails around £700 each Period, and if we helped someone build a Gold group of 14 Distributors doing the average sales, we would earn commissions of £438 perPeriod (at Bronze Executive Level). However, if we sponsored just four frontline Distributors who achieved average sales - that wouldearn us £430. That’s just £8 difference!

We set a goal to recruit 20 people frontline to us in the next three months – we are working on the basis that if just 50% of those whowe sponsor, retail the average sales – then that’s worth over an extra £1,000 each month to us. Where else could you get that sort ofpay rise in just three months?

We told some of our team at our Key People Trainingwhat we were going to do and many of them got soinspired they have decided to join us on our journey. Wehave called our group Club 203 which stands for 20new front line Distributors in 3 months – as we believethere is no problem in anyone’s business that 20 newDistributors won’t cure!”

ANNIVERSARY WINNERWhile over on the other side of the pond, America was celebrating the Roaring Twenties, here in England onecompany were starting to make some noise. That noise grew over the next eighty five years into a roar of its ownand to celebrate that successful roar (aka Kleeneze), every month we’re giving the 85th person to join the businessa refund of their start-up fee.

This month, the lucky Distributor is Rebecca Mason (sponsored by Silver Distributor,Edward Whytock). Congratulations!

WHILE YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE AWAY…Summer holidays don’t have to impact on your profits, as these twoDistributorships can testify. Here’s their advice on how to maximiseyour summer retail.

“Summer’s here again and it’s time for your customers to go off ontheir holidays. There are a few simple points to remember so that youget the best out of your summer retail.

• Always stick to your usual routine - don’t change a thing. You’llknow when people are away when there is a mountain of mailbehind the front door or when the streets’ dustbins are all out, apartfrom outside the house you’re calling at.

• Communication is key - If you are struggling to retrieve a bookfrom a house then always let them know that you’ve been andwhen you’re coming back again.

• Keep your customer records up to date - so that, failing all else, you will always know which books are still out the next time you goaround. You’ll need plenty of spare books and just because it’ssummer it doesn’t mean that you’ll lose morethan your average amount of books. If youcare enough about them you’ll know wherethey are and you’ll get them back.

Finally, if you’re blanket dropping a new areaand you have old catalogues, then why not usethem. You won’t feel so bad if you don’t getthose back!”

Janice Morgan, Gold Distributor

“Over the past four years, we have seen the retail trends change overthe summer months. People who order regularly, stop ordering andbooks that are always left outside for collection suddenly disappear.

When it comes to the summer, you have to adapt yourself to theconditions (and I’m not talking about our gloriously hot sunny days!).Ensure that you have ordered ample books. If you usually work with

150 then make sure that you have 200. Why? Because there will besome books that you won’t get back right away when your customersare on holidays – you will get them back but maybe not for a month. There’s nothing worse than starting with 150 books in July and having100 left two weeks later.

Summer is a great time to retail. We find that individual orders areactually higher now than a month ago. Stick to your usual routine andnever miss out a customer’s house. If you’re building a customer basethen look for the obvious signs that there’s nobody home (e.g.mountains of mail, 5-foot long grass, etc).

Most importantly ensure that you keep exceptional customer recordsand make sure that you communicate well by using ‘Sorry I missedyou’ notes. That way you will always knowwhere your missing catalogues are and you’llfind that you get most back because thecustomers will know that you’re coming backfor them.

Finally, there’s no such thing as a quiet time inKleeneze. If your orders are up then it’s a goodweek and you’re busy. If your orders are downthen you’re also busy - putting out extra books.Happy retailing!”

Gareth & Lynette Tucker, Gold Distributors

Of course, one of the best ways to maximise your retail is toensure you have the right tools for the job. Our newCatalogues have over 99% stock availability and are a must forkeeping your business progressing forward.

If you haven’t already, make sure you andyour team are ahead of the game withthe new Retail Kit. UK code 02623/ROI code 02747 £30/€45.

“We had an appointment on Saturday 19 July with Michaela Ford and, because she wanted to pay bycredit card she was our first Distributor to use Online Registration when it was launched. It was so ezeeeeeee! Alldone and completed and within 10 minutes she had her business up and running.”Bob and Diane Goulding, Bronze Executive Distributors

PERIOD 7 IS A SALES PLAN SMASH34 qualifying Gold Distributors compared to 19 this time last year, 4 Bronze Executives, compared to 3 last year, 1 Bronze SED and 1 SilverExecutive Distributor, compared to none last year. And, yet another Distributorship has done the double and qualified for both Vienna and theCaribbean. It’s been an AMAZING period!

“Gr8 in 2008 continues into Period 7, as we have seen record numbers of people moving up the Sales Plan. I believe that partly the reason for thisis Vienna. It seems to really have caught people’s imaginations and hit the mark.” Michael Khatkar.

This week, we can happily report that a further seventeen Distributors will be joining us in Vienna including one couple, Richard and ClareChantler, who will also be boarding the Club Med 2 in 2009!

“Following Marrakech and the outstanding hospitality we received there put on by Kleeneze; qualifying for oursecond Autumn Destination in Vienna is like a dream come true, as it is somewhere we have always wanted to go.The new friends we made and the magic of Marrakech encouraged us to move onto Senior with the help of agreat team.By following a Briffa Team system and always having a strong retail base we are able to help new Distributors to getoff to a profitable start which sets them up to achieve higher rewards. We really recommend everyone to experience an Autumn Destination - it will change you forever.”Terry and Margaret Farrell, Senior Distributors

“We had been happy just to retail and grow a small team for quite a while with Kleeneze, that is until we were absolutely inspired and motivatedat the Kleeneze New Year Conference 2008.

We have been to several conferences, thought they were great but this time something just 'clicked' with usand we came home determined to move our business on. We contacted our sponsors (one of whom, DawnMarsden, is in the photograph with us) and also our senior Upline mentor, Peter Rea, made our plans, talkedwith our team and forged ahead, with no looking back. We've gained several new team members, now have a fantastic team, and are helping them now to startbuilding. How do we feel about qualifying for Vienna? Absolutely and completely brilliant. For us this is just a stepping stone. We now know that we can achieve whatever we want to with thisbusiness, we just have to keep that determination going and the world will be our oyster.Lesley and Keith Ridden, Gold Distributors

Only five weeks left until the Kleeneze Christmas Showcase 2008, an event that’s set to get this highly profitable season starting with a biggerbang than ever before.

“This is the most lucrative time of year,” explained Michael Khatkar, Head of Network Development. “Distributors can expect their retail profit tobe up by somewhere in the region of 30%.”

As it only comes around once a year, it’s really important that you maximise these opportunities, so we have a whole host of top Networkspeakers lined up to pass on their knowledge on to you. Over the last couple of weeks, we announced Peter White and Eamon Lynch will betaking to the stage to talk about getting the vision to succeed and the edge to carry it out.

This week, we can announce they will be joined by Gold Senior ExecutiveDistributor, Susan Pirie, and Bronze Senior Executive Distributor, Toby Acton!

“Susan has a unique training lined up,” said Michael Khatkar. “She’ll beshowing you a method of retail that can be even more effective for maximisingyour sales over this time of year with an emphasis on demonstrating products.

“Toby will be speaking about sponsoring out of your comfort zone,” hecontinued. “Network Marketing is all about recommending your business, sowe picked someone who has always ‘sold’ the business effectively, not only towarm market, but to almost anybody.”

CIAL GUEST AT THE CHRISTMAS SHOWCASE 2008!

For one Distributorship qualifying for Vienna is doubly special. 65-year-olds Chris and Jim have spentthe past couple of weeks applying for their passports, because they have NEVER been abroad before!

“For us, it’s double the excitement really. We’re 65, neither of us drives and so we do all the retailing on foot, butwe were determined to qualify. We couldn’t believe it, though, when we heard. In fact, Jim still doesn’t believe it,he keeps on saying he will once he has the tickets in his hands!”

Christine Foster has been in the business for 11 years and has kept on coming close to qualifying, but each time asetback has meant that she never quite got there. This is one determined lady though.

“I’m made of sterner stuff than just to give up,” she laughs. “Three months after I joined, I fractured my shoulder inthree places, but I carried on with it with just one arm! Then, when my husband was made redundant last year, hestarted retailing as well.

I cannot drive, because I have benign vertigo and Jim is of the mind ‘why should I start now’?! I have arthritis as well and cover a really largearea on foot, so I use a shopping trolley to take my catalogues around. It’s nice, because you have all the old ladies who love to talk. Peoplestop me in town too to ask about their Catalogues. It is, of course, hard work. In the week that we qualified, we did £2,100 in retail, but whenyour mind is focused, you can achieve anything. Next stop is the Caribbean!”

Between Chris and Jim, they have 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, so Kleeneze is also a welcome relief around Christmas time. Butit’s not just the money that helps them out.

“The cost is horrific,” admits Chris. “But it’s also a lot of planning, which is where Kleeneze has really taught us how to prepare. Just as if wewere aiming to qualify for Conference, we set a plan and stick to it!

You just have to keep on doing what you do best,” ends Chris. “We go on appointments for example, where people say ‘oh, I couldn’t do it, Ihave arthritis.’ Well, I’m 66 this year, have arthritis and cannot drive, but I keep on going! Walking is great for you anyway! Even when it’s ablizzard, I’m out there (to be honest, I think people take pity on me when the weather’s bad and give me more orders anyway!). The bestadvice I can give? Make no excuses.”

We can also announce that at this year’s ChristmasShowcase, attendees can pick up the newChristmas Catalogue front cover product (always aseasonal best-seller) for a knock-down price of just£5/€7.50 (selling price £17/€25.50!). Use it todemonstrate the product to your customers. If that’s not a way to launch a great retailperiod, we don’t know what is!

Congratulations on the following Distributorships for qualifying to join us in the magical city of Vienna!Richard and Clare Chantler, Silver Executive Distributors

CREDIT AGREEMENTSPlease note, all manually submitted agreement forms (paper, non-Internet registered) must be accompanied by a Credit Agreement Form inorder for the registration to be processed and your new starters to get their businesses up and running.

You can find the Credit Agreement Form in your Business Kit and it is also available to download off the DSA.http://dsa.kleeneze.co.uk/Downloads/Kleeneze_credit_agreement.pdf.

Deciding how and when to pay your Kleeneze statement can sometimes be a daunting task. You know you have to do it,but should you pay today, tomorrow or next week? This article is intended to help you through that decision process andalso give you some helpful advice.

Kleeneze offers you a choice. You are given the opportunity to pay off your statement balance every week and avoid allinterest charges or you may choose to pay only the minimum weekly payment as shown on Kleeneze statement. Butsurely, paying the small minimum payment every week won’t cost me more will it?

The plain and simple answer is, yes!

As soon as an invoice is unpaid 7 days after its payment date an entry for ‘debit interest’ will be added to your statement.Even a small weekly charge of £4.00 per week, if left unchecked, could soon add up to over £200 a year in interestcharges alone, eating away at all the profit you have made.

And it is not only your profit that can suffer! In a recent comparison between successful and struggling businesses onecommon thread was identified, even though both businesses had similar order volumes! We found that the main difference was in how thebusiness paid for its goods. In the majority of cases the successful business paid for its invoices as they fell due for payment, but the failingbusinesses did not. Only the minimum payment was being made.

This meant one thing - running out of credit. Even though large orders were still being won they could not be accepted. The distributor foundthat the high and increasing overdue (or interest bearing) balance had used up the credit limit! Even credit limit increase requests could not beprocessed because of the high “interest bearing balance”.

In some of the worst cases we found an even more worrying trend. As only the minimum balance was being paid there just wasn’t the cashthere any more to pay off the overdue element.

So what should I do? Pay for an invoice by its due date. If you are paying by post or Giro Credit then pay for your goods 5 working days before the due date. Use the statement as a payment reminder. Avoid building up an “interest bearing balance”. It’s a term which means that we are legally allowed to charge you interest.

The other business!Well, with a regular and full payment record they found that when they needed an increase in their credit limit they were accepted straight away.
