    Our Services and Service Approach

Kebay offers a reputation for delivering practical results. Our consistent

ability to help our clients achieve lasting improvements is anchored in

    our collaborative approach.

We offer abroad range of Sanitary, Pest control services and civil

    Engineering services.

    Malaria Control Services

This is one of our flagship services targeted specifically to corporate

clients. The objective of the exercise is to reduce the incidence of

malaria cases among employees and its employees household

members. The intent is to reduce the time lost in absenteeism due

sickness arising from malaria and related cases by reducing the

    mosquitoes which transmit malaria.

Our approach is to use registered pyrethroids and carbamates to spray,

fog and fumigate residential houses and offices periodically (normally

once per quarter). We use thermal fog generator to fog both in-door

and out-door areas. We also spray larvicide in all stagnant waters,

manholes, sceptic tanks, in order to kill mosquito larvae and to prevent

them in developing to adulthood. We encourage the target group to use

mosquito nets and advice that medical diagnostic tests be done before

    use of prescription anti-malarial drugs.

    Structural Pest control

This involves the control of houseflies, cockroaches, bedbugs, lice, fleas,

weevils, and other agricultural pests, etc. This service is offered on

demand and after a survey is conducted to establish the level of

    infestation.

    Rodent control

Rodents (both rats and mice) are almost impossible to eradicate but it is

important to keep them at minimal and manageable levels. The service

starts with an estimation of the rodent population. Then baiting (either

bait trays or boxes) is done with a view to prevent other animals from

eating the bait during treatments. The usual practice to balance efficacy

against safety is to carry out a site specific risk assessment to wildlife

and particularly children from rodenticide exposure. After that, the baits

    are collected and disposed safely.

    Reptiles and Snake control

Our staffs are adept at control of both reptile and snake population in

the environment. We apply snake jelly close to the reptiles habitat or

where they frequently visit. After licking the jelly the reptiles die slowly

    away in their retirement.

    Termite Control

Termites are a very distractive structural pest. They destroy wooden

components of building and may destroy a very expensive property.

After termite inspection is conducted in an existing building or field,

depending on the type of termite involved, their source (nest) is

established. The whole building, field area and the sources are treated

with termerticides with a guarantee of over 15 years. Kebay also

provides these services to new buildings where it takes the subcontract

of treating the entire foundation and attendant areas.

    Bees Control

Wild bees can be very dangerous once they establish their hives in your

building or in your compound or premises. After bee hives inspection is

conducted in an existing building or field, the hives are sprayed at night

    with suitable insecticides.

    Bats and Birds Control

Bat management is truly a challenge. Any opening 3/8 inch or larger is

sufficient for entry of smaller bats, so pest management professionals

must be very thorough in their efforts. The first part of successfully

managing a bat infestation is to inspect and evaluate the situation. Two

inspections may be necessary for a full understanding of the situation.

An inspection at dusk determines the size of the infestation as the

bats leave for their nightly feeding. Also, it shows their preferred

    exit point from the structure.

A second inspection needs to take place during daylight hours

when the bats are sleeping and humans can see best (bright lights

such as flashlights and work lights may scare the bats at night

and cause them to change their habits). This inspection needs to

identify deficiencies of the building/structure, the roosting site,

species of bat and equipment needed to effectively control.

Once the situation is assessed and understood, a humane solution will

    be devised.

Bats are a potentiallydangerous infestation to control. Not only can they

as pests cause problems, but there are medical implications to consider.

Bats can carry rabies without showing any signs, and working near bats

may increase chances of exposure. Also, accumulation of their

droppings creates a suitable environment for the growth of Histoplasmacapsulatum, a fungus which can cause lung disease in humans. Spores

contained within the dust are inhaled into the lungs. Severe cases can

be fatal. This danger and access to the proper safety equipment are two

reasons why only experts should attempt to control bat infestations.

    Cleaning and Sanitary Services

Kebayhas a reputation for delivering practical results in cleaning and

sanitary services. This can be done in large buildings, offices, factories

and even hospitals and other facilities.
