International Exhibition for Textile and fashion

7-9 NOVEMBER 2019

The International Exhibition for Textile and fashion TEXTAILOR EXPO was held from 07 to 09 November 2019. The exhibition is highly appreciated for daring to combine and present in one place textile machines and fashion, mass-produced products and hand-made items, established brands and startups, meet pupils, students and young designers with world-renowned stylists to transfer experience and skills at Creative Lab, to shelter business conversations and professional training.

The accompanying events focused interest in new technological solutions for production optimization, orientation in fashion trends, marketing techniques for increasing sales, environmental aspects of clothing production and eco-friendly fashion.

The organization of fashion shows created a unique atmosphere and set high industry standard.

OPENINGTEXTAILOR EXPO started with inspirational speeches of the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Iliana Yotova and the Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Lachezar Borisov.

“We will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technological achievements of the textile industry, to get acquainted with the products of

Bulgarian producers, with the ideas of young designers who will make famous Bulgaria around the world. Made in Bulgaria has always been a guarantee for quality.”, said Ms. Yotova, Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria.

“The textile and fashion industries are among the fastest growing industries in our country. They employ 90,000 people. The production of apparel formed 7.1% of added value in the Bulgarian economy, and production of textiles adds - another 1.7%. Industry 4.0 is in this showroom, showing the latest generation of machines with which help good design ideas bring new added value”, said Lachezar Borisov, Deputy Minister of Economy.

“TexTailor expo” has raised the level of Bulgarian fashion significantly and inspired young people who want to develop in this area“, emphasized Ivan Donev, world-renowned fashion stylist.

“TexTailor expo“ showcases aesthetic demand and technological innovation in the fashion industry. That's why it is useful for specialists and interesting for the general public”, said Dr. Ivan Sokolov, CEO at the International Fair Plovdiv.

The HALL

Hall 13 brought together exhibitors and visitors in the 6500 space sq.m, divided into sectors corresponding to the exhibitors' profile - machinery and equipment, materials, fabrics and supplies, ready-made clothing, design area, presentation islands, Creativelab space, stage for fashion shows, seminars and presentations, professional training, schools and universities

In its second edition TEXTAILOR EXPO attracted 82 exhibitors from 8 countries - Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Spain, China, Romania, Turkey and the Netherlands

VISITORSTEXTAILOR EXPO has attracted the interest of over 2500 visitors from 16 countries - Bulgaria, Germany,Greece, Spain, Italy, China, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Sweden.

The main visitor profile is the owners and managers of textile industry enterprises, decision makers, specialists and professionals from the industry. The exhibition was also visited by representatives of the academic community and the scientific and technical circles.
