ARCHBISHOP’S APPEAL THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF MAY: The Archbishop’s Appeal is a fundraising campaign conducted by the Archdiocese of St. John’s. Our goal is to raise funds to support the outreach and spiritual care services of the Archdiocese of St. John’s—specifically, the programs, services and projects that benefit families, the sick, the elderly, the disadvantaged, the imprisoned and those who are in any way vulnerable, ignored or oppressed. The Archbishop’s Appeal gives each of us the opportunity to look beyond the boundaries of our own parish towards the larger needs of the People of God. People in all of our parishes, missions, societies and organizations are invited to make a contribution to this important cause. Please be generous. Thank you to the Bereavement Team, the Choir, Eucharistic Minister, the Gift Bearers, the Readers and the Pall bearers. To everyone who or offered condolences through a kind word, a hug, sent cards, monetary donations, donations of food and to the ladies for preparing the fantastic luncheon at the hall, thank you!
