IRELAND TRIP: For those who are travelling to Ireland next year, the online registration form is now on the parish website, under parish news. www.gsparish.ca, 3RD DEPOSIT OF $500.00 IS NOW DUE. 2. GATHERING PLACE: In preparation for our visit on Tuesday, May 30 to serve a meal, I am seeking donations of toiletries/personal items. There is a need for toilet paper, soap, shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, other personal items, etc. If you are able to donate an item(s) please drop them off at the parish office or the church. Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, sent cards and messages of sympathy, and gifts of food to our homes. Special thank you to Carol Ann Lewis and her staff, who went above and beyond the call of duty, to Gibbons’ Funeral Home for their professionalism, to the gentlemen who gave of their time and labor to dig mom’s resting place, Mary Fleming and the choir members for the beautiful music and vocals, Pat Butler for the accordion music at the Vigil and at the Mass and the Ladies Auxiliary for the delicious lunch following the graveside prayers. Thank you to Father Steve for the most beautiful homily and mass, she would have been so proud. Thank you to Monsignor Denis Walsh for concelebrating mom’s mass, it meant so much to all of us.
