Ghana by: Claire and Vivian
• In Ghana they start to celebrate Christmas on the 20th of December.
• There are 66 different languages in Ghana they all have their own cultures.
• In December they start the cocoa harvest ,Ghana is the second Country that produces the most cocoa
• You can celebrate Christmas in Ghana by going to church and dancing or having a party with fireworks .
The food they eat in Ghana on Christmas
• They would have a feast on Christmas Eve too. Instead of eating turkey or ham, People in Ghana eat stew or okra soup, porridge and meats rice and a yam paste called ‘fufu’.
• They also eat fish on Christmas day.
What they would wear on Christmas in Ghana
• In Ghana they have to get new clothes to wear on Christmas when they wear it they would not wear it until 2 or 3 years later. The places they would wear it to is church, their family and friends house or sometimes the would even go outside an show off the clothes .
