Communion to the homebound For those unable to attend Mass due to illness or disability, arrangements can be made to receive Holy Communion weekly by an Extra Ordinary Minister of Holy Communion. KNIGHT AT THE RACES Join us for the annual “Knight at the Races” on Saturday, April 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first Saturday after Easter. Name your horse (s) and come to see them win! There will be door prizes, chances to win a basket of cheer, great food, beverages and all for only $5 per person admission. Flyers with all the details are located in the back of each worship site. In addition to returning your completed horse form and remittance by mail, they may also be deposited in the marked box located in the back of each wor-ship site. They will be collected immediately after each Mass.

OLC-ELC OLC-ELC will be closed for Spring Break from April 17 - April 22. Classes will resume on April 23rd. Enrollment has started for preschool children for the 2019-20 school year. One of the biggest joys I saw was the children saying a short prayer for an absentee to feel better soon. The children enjoy snack time together and stay active all day. LENTEN PRAYER Dear Father, It's so hard to love the world sometimes and to love it the way Jesus did seems impossible. Help me to be inspired by his love and guided by his example. Most of all, I want to accept that I can't do it alone, and that trying is an arrogance of self-centeredness. I need you, dear God, to give me support in this journey. Show me how to unlock my heart so that I am less selfish. Let me be less fearful of the pain and darkness that will be transformed by you into Easter joy.
