IN REGION BANDTwenty-six students auditioned for

the All-Region 8 Band where eleven

earned a spot:

Malcolm Moore, Tenor Sax

Ethan Fabreo, Tenor Sax

Jonathan Konderla, Tuba

Kendall Callen, Bassoon

Jessica Kramr, Piccolo

Hayley Sisco, Trombone

Alex Tag, Trombone

Jason Zuniga, Trombone

Francis Hirschler, Trumpet

Darius Miranda-Sohrabji, Flute

Kendall Callen also earned a spot in

the Region 8 Orchestra.

Four students placed high enough to

be certified for area. Darius, Hayley,

Kendall, and Jessica will audition fo

the All-State Band in January.

The UIL Academic team participated in an

invitational on Saturday, Jan 9 at A&M

Consolidated High School. The following

students won awards:
