MIG AND SPOT WELD CELLDESCRIPTION – PARTS ARE LOADED ONTO INDEXER. INDEXER ROTATESINTO WELD POSITION. 2 SPOT WELD ROBOTS WORK TOGETHER WITH A SMALLER MIG WELD ROBOT TO PROCESS PARTS.
QUICK CHANGE TOOL MACHINEDESCRIPTION – MULTIPLE SPOT, NUT AND STUD WELD FIXTURES DESIGNEDWITH AUTOMATIC AIR, WATER AND ELECTRICAL HOOKUP USINGAN ATI ROBOT TOOL CHANGER. THIS MAXIMIZED MACHINE RUN TIMEFOR LOW VOLUME PARTS.
MIG WELD CAROUSELDESCRIPTION – THIS MACHINE WAS DESIGNED FOR LOW VOLUME PARTS TO MAXIMIZE MACHINEEFFICIENCY WITH QUICK CHANGE OVER TO A NEW SET OF TOOLING. 4 DIFFERENT SETS OF TOOLINGARE MOUNTED ON A MANUAL CAROUSEL. WHEN A CHANGE OVER IS NEEDED THE OPERATOR PUSHES A BUTTON ON THE PANEL VIEW WHICH UNLOCKS THE CAROUSEL AND ROTATES IT INTO POSITION FOR THE NEW TOOLING. ROBOT MOUNTED UPSIDE DOWN TO MAXIMIZE ROBOT REACH.
DIE SIMULATORDESCRIPTION – THIS MACHINE WAS DESIGNED TO SIMULATE THE TRANSFERING OF BLANKS FROM DIE TO DIE IN A TRANSFER PRESS USING BALL SCREW DRIVES FOR XY&ZMOVEMENT. THE IDEA WAS TO MAXIMIZE PRESS TIME WHILE THE TRANSFER TOOLING WAS BEING SETUP IN THIS MACHINE.
HIGH VOLUME PRESS NUT WELDERDESCRIPTION – THIS MACHINE WAS DESIGNED TO HAVE NO OPERATORS. THE STAMPINGSCAME FROM THE PRESS ON A CONVEYOR AND ROBOTS LOADED THE PARTS ONTO MULTIPLE NUT WELDERS. THE PARTS WERE THEN EJECTED ONTO A CONVEYOR AND LOADED INTO A BIN.
