2 Current Bal Swan Children & Family Programs Toddlers: 9-month, 2-hour Program - 8:30 to 10:30 or 11:00 to 1:00 on MWF or TTH This is a 2 hour introduction class to Bal Swan for young 2-year-olds. This class works on basic routines, social interaction, the beginnings of cognitive development, motor, language, and self-help skills. Pre-school: 9-month, half-day Program - 8:30 to 11:30 on MWF or TTH This is a 3 hour class for the older 2s and younger 3s. It occurs at the same time as our Pre-Kindergarten program so families can have their children in school at the same time. This class builds on the toddler program within routines, social interaction, gross and fine motor, language, self-help, and cognitive development. Pre-Kindergarten: All 3 ½ and 5 year-old programs are two-year programs. Your 3 ½ year-old will be able to continue with their same class, teacher, and friends for two years. During, the first year, your 3 ½ year-old will benefit from watching and playing with the 4 ½ year-olds and your 3 ½ year old will achieve greater success by following the older students’ lead. The second year in the program is just as important as the first. Your 3 ½ year-old is now 4 ½ and gets to be the leader in the classroom to all the new 3 ½ year-olds, while still being challenged cognitively by our wonderful teachers. 9 or 12-month half-day Pre-Kindergarten Programs 8:30 to 11:30 on MWF or TTH 12:30 to 3:30 on MWF, TTH, M-TH, or M-F These programs can be enrolled in for 9 or 12 months. Toddlers: 9-month, 2-hour Program - 8:30 to 10:30 or 11:00 to 1:00 on MWF or TTH

This is a 2 hour introduction class to Bal Swan for young 2-year-olds. This class

Awesome Afternoons: Child must be enrolled (no drop-in programming) and must be 3 and older:

(3:30 to 4:30) This program helps the family that needs a little more time before they pick up

their children. There are limited spots available for this program. Families in the

full-day program will receive priority placement. This program runs year-

round.

Lunch Bunch: Lunch Bunch is a popular program and Bal Swan will place children

(11:30 to 12:30) based on their enrollment date whenever possible. There are limited spots

available for this program.

Lunch Bunch is only a 9 month program, September – May. There is no

lunch bunch the first week of September.

Child must be enrolled (no drop-in programming) and must be 3 and older:

This is our popular lunch program where parents pack their children’s lunches.

During this time, the children socialize about the wonders of the world with their

friends and our excellent staff. Families will need to enroll in this program just

like the main Bal Swan programs. Please remember we are a NO NUT school.

If children bring nut products into the school they will not be able to eat

them. We will provide the child in this situation an alternative lunch.
