Growing up in North Carolina, the month of September represented the possibility for a last chance getaway to the beach, a good excuse to fire up the grill, and the county fair always came through our area in September as well. School was in full ses- sion and the year’s new book bag and load of school supplies were in full use. The seasons were in transi- on as the shadows of the morning and evening light were growing longer, the year had its last chance to surprise us with a hurricane, and our agricultural community was always busy gathering in the last of the year’s harvest; meaning, fall fesvals were just around the corner…. Life at the assembly is in transion during the month of September as well. At the assembly, we have new brochures which will be available at our Fall Meeng. The assembly has a new website. Our students are audioning and geng ready for our annual dessert theater for Missions to be held on Nov. 14-15. Go ahead and get that date on your calendar so you can be a part of “Borrowed Time”.
