 Electronic Submission Style Guide (updated March 2011) Electronic Submission Style Guide Guide for use with Word 2007 Reproduced with Permission All assignments must be submitted to your tutor electronically through Moodle (You may also be requested to submit a hard copy also). Before submitting, check that:  The assignment is in ‘MicrosoftWord’ TM (.doc or .docx) format.  The file format is in the format the tutor wants.  The font is Times New Roman or Calibri.  The font size is 12 for the body.  The font size for titles and headings is 16 and bold.  The font size for sub-titles and is 14, left justified and bold.  1.5 line spacing is used.  The document contains a left justified header showing your name and ID number, assignment, tutor, due date and time, and word count.  There is no coversheet for English unless specified by tutor.  Pages are numbered and total page count shown (e.g. page 2 of 5), centred.  A reference list is included. Read the instructions on the following pages to do these. Here are some features you will need. Home tab These buttons allow you to change the writing style, and the size. These buttons allow you to change how paragraphs look on the page.
