22 October was designated International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD) in 1998. The day is intended to raise the public awareness of the millions of people who have the speech disorder of stuttering, including over 3 million Americans.

The passive voice is a grammatical construction
in which the subject of a sentence or clause
denotes the recipient of the action rather than
the performer. In the English language, the
English passive voice is formed with an auxiliary
verb (usually be or get) plus a participle (usually
the past participle) of a transitive verb.

WHY DO WE USE PASSIVE SENTENCES?
We use the passive voice when the receiver of the action is more important in our communication than the one who did it (the actor of the verb).◦ The president was assassinated this
