WHAT? WHY? WHo?

The seminar will provide an overview of the North Sea market and decommissions forecast. 600 platforms will be decommissioned starting now. We will have presentations of port facilities and advises on decommissioning possibilities. Meet operators and contractors to understand their demands.

Decommissioning of platforms is a subject of today! As supply chain companies and contractors it is essential to understand the need for support capacity and to exchange experience and views on upcoming projects. estimated to around 500 billion DKK.

New business opportunities will be created in refurbishing high-end equipment/machines for oil and gas exploration and production.

All interested players should attend. Operators, contractors, service specialists, consultants, marine and wells specialists, offshore disposal experts, repair shops, offshore associations, offshore networks and education institutions. If you want to take part in the huge business, you should attend.

Decom North Sea is the industry forum for offshore decommissioning in the North Sea. The main focus is to ensure that the supply chain gains maximum business benefit from the forthcoming significant offshore oil & gas decommissioning programme by delivering practical industry support, improving knowledge transfer and stimulating collaborative activities across the supply chain.

This is done by providing effective member events, promotional activities and information services. We are also driving forward some key industry initiatives including:

The provision of more detailed and reliable market intelligenceThe development of a standard template for decommissioning programmesMore equitable remuneration models

Researching the potential for greater re-use of plant and equipmentResearch into possible transfer of technologies and techniques to and from nuclear and salvage sectors
