Personal Statement:
A sports coaching graduate from Northumbria University, who has experience in sales and very good communication skills as a result of my coaching experience, meaning I am comfortable engaging and advising customers. I also have a lot of experience of working in teams and as I teach in my spare time I understand the importance of good organisational skills and have developed these as a result.

Position Held: Volunteer Sports Coach
Responsibility: Running a basketball club every Wednesday and ensuring the safety and provision of roughly 20 pupils from years 3-6.
October 2009 – August 2011 – Homebase (Tiverton)
Position Held: Showroom Sales Assistant
Responsibilities: Greet and advise customers regarding kitchen and bathroom suites/appliances etc. as well as working on the tills during busy periods.
2009 – East Devon College – Community Sports Leadership Award Award (Level 2)
Responsibilities: In order to complete the course, I had to carry out a series of coaching/teaching sessions; including working with children, young adults and people with disabilities. As part of this course I also helped to organise and run a primary school sports day.
September 2007 – June 2008 – Apprentice Plumber
Responsibilities: Communicating with customers as well as building working relations with other tradesman to ensure future employment opportunities. My main day to day working responsibilities mainly included fitting bathroom suites as well as central heating appliances.
Interests/ Hobbies:
In my spare time I like to stay active by playing a variety of sports including; football, tennis and basketball. I have competed for East Devon College in Tennis and was fortunate to have the opportunity to captain my football team for 5 years. I also take an active role in encouraging young people to participate in sports and help teach them the importance of staying fit and healthy.
