Library Branch Manager

Second Annual

Celebration of Mind Gathering

Saturday, October 20 1-3 p.m. Activities throughout the Library will inspire fun and wonder for puzzles, games, math, magic, art, and more. Gardner (1914 –2010) was best known for encouraging popular interest in recreational mathematics through his “Mathematical Games” column in Scientific American, which ran for 25 years. He was dedicated to the pursuit of a playful and fun approach to math, science, art, magic, illusion, puzzles, and the workings of the mind. This family-friendly event promotes curiosity and critical thinking through play. All ages are welcome to enjoy games and prizes. Come excite your mind!

Celebration of Mind Gathering is part of a worldwide celebration of the legacy of Martin Gardner, held annually on or near his birthdate. For more information about the Gathering for Gardner Foundation (G4G) Celebration of Mind Gatherings, please visit the website: https://www.celebrationofmind.org/.
