Comprehension: Read the story given below and answer the questions that follow-

One fine Sunday the sun decided to take a holiday. He too needed rest. After all he had been

shining brightly since ages without any rest. Moreover, Sunday was the day named after him, he

thought. So, he suddenly disappeared from the sky. The Earth was covered with darkness

everywhere. The animals saw that it was dark. One of them said, “something is wrong, let’s go to

sleep”. Soon the lion, tiger, bulls, cows, goats, elephants all went to sleep. Their babies were

hungry. They were told that they would not get any food that day. A pigeon told its little one,

“Today it is dark outside. The sun cannot be seen. How can I find a worm for you? You will have

to remain hungry today”. The honeybee could not find any flower as it was dark outside. It too

went to its beehive to rest.

Men, women and children stopped whatever they were doing. Scared, they rushed to their homes.

It became very quiet on the Earth.
