Setting PageThe novel Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

is the second book in the Hunger Games series. Catching Fire takes place in many of the districts in this society. There are thirteen districts; districts one through twelve are the districts that are “supposed to be there”. District thirteen is a rebellion camp; it is unlike the other twelve districts. It is not a capital-ruled district.

eyes, very athletic and very good archery. She’s an the main character and a protagonist. she is goodhearted because of how she is trying to protect everyone in her district and all the other districts, but is not sure if she should because it will cause pain through her family and the districts families . She’s a major character because of how she’s telling the story from her perspective.

eyes, very strong . He’s a major character and a protagonist. He is determined person because of how he never gives up like how he determined to keep Katnis as safe as possible.

smart. Beetee is a minor character and a protagonist. He’s a protagonist because he helps Katniss a little and is helping her rebel against the capitol.

kind of crazy. Wiress is minor character and isn’t a protagonist or an antagonist because she really didn’t help anyone or do anything except be with beetee.

P.Rising actionPresident snow announced there would be

a quarter quell. This is a rising action because President snow just wants Katniss to be punished but he doesn't want to create a n uprising.

P.ClimaxKatniss and Petta In the game’s. this is

the climax because Katniss realizes that she has allies she can trust and to fight in an rebellion with.

Katniss escaping. this is also a part of the climax because Katniss and her new allies she meet in training leave and show the capitol up again. Which in rages Preside nt snow again.

P.Falling actionWhen Katniss wakes up from being

knocked out. This is the falling action because when she wakes up she’s asking all these questions and she finds out how Petta didn’t get out. How district 12 is gone. And it prepares the reader for the next and final book Mocking Jay.

conflictKatniss having to convince President snow

that she loves Petta Man VS Man.President Snow scared of and uprising of

the districts Man VS SocietyPetta mad at Katniss for only thinking

ThemeThe theme is hope. I think its hope because

of how President snow tries to keep everyone scared and sad for them and there families. But when Katniss comes along and shows the capitol up. It gives the people with in the twelve districts HOPE. Its our sign from District 12, the last good-bye I gave rue in the arena.)”
