CONCLUSIONS
• Many years of problems with the current transportation system
have stressed the environmental and social benefits in the city
of Guatemala. The success of this project has been confirmed
through the acceptance of millions of users in the metropolitan
area.
• This is a first of its kind public transportation system in Central
America, it offers access to everyone in a cleaner, safer,
organized and planned space.
• The success of this projects and the positive effects in cultural
change is barely the tip of the Iceberg. Carbon revenues are an
essential source of financial support, that is why it is important
to invite carbon buyers to be part of this innovative effort and
support the whole process off change.
