Bonnie Kime Bonnie Kime , the gallery owner, is passionate about the arts. She feels that she represents the artists in the gallery. Every time she enters the gallery, there is always something new to see. Her goal is for the gallery to move in a progressive direction to enrich and inspire the community. What is your goal? The goal of the art gallery is to educate the arts around the community. Also to try and supplement what is lacking in school systems. What is your view on student visits? Why does the gallery exist? TNPS was a vision of Ralph Edgar. Over ten years ago, he and his wife moved to Grandy Tour. Jane looked at the building and fell in love with the structure, so she decided to purchase it for half a million dollars. She and her husband wanted to bring culture and art to the rural community. The goal of the gallery is to educate and nurture the arts in the community. This gallery is also a resource center of the arts and it is full of inspiring pieces of artwork. Local talented artists create many of the artwork. Art is created in this gallery, exhibited, and celebrated. The Next Picture Art Show has two galleries, a main gallery and a lower level gallery. The main gallery is the gallery that visitors step into when entering TNPS. There is a wide range of artwork from oil to sculpture to photography. The lower level gallery is used for classes, workshops, and special exhibits, such as art shows done by students. The artwork of this gallery has broadened over time. There is just about every medium showcased here, from sculpture to weaving. The artists that have been featured in this gallery have also been shown at the Art Institute of Chicago and New York. What is your goal?

The goal of the art gallery is to educate the arts around the community. Also to try and supplement what is lacking in school systems.

What is your view on student visits?

Kime believes that student art visits are crucial. She loves them and student visits are always allowed. Art education is important in a child’s growth and development.

Why does the gallery exist?
