860^Radicals have been detected at low temperatures (550-700 degree centigrade) in the thermal decomposition of dimethyl and methyl-ethyl-ketone by the Paneth method. The sensitivity of the method has been increased by the use of radioactive mirrors of Pb"212 Pb"2"1"2 (PbPb212212). They have proved to detect one radical among 2.10"6 molecules. (author)
