What’s our purpose?

Our purpose is to pump up that social interaction!

We’ll explore ways to structure more interaction and sharing in your PLN seminars.

We’ll experience a few.

We’ll brainstorm how you might use them.

Snowball fightTake one of the post-its out of your glass and

write your answer to the following: ”One thing that stands out so far, from SLW is....”

Wad that up in a little ball.Throw it at someone on the other side of the

room. Pick up a ‘snowball” and throw it some where

else.Grab one near you. Read it silently. Read your snowball to the group.

Page 6: Beyond Pair/Share

How can we use it?It’s safe because it’s anonymous.Everyone’s “voice” is equal in length. It’s a fast way to get a lot of ideas or points of

view out in the open quickly.

How can you use this in your PLN seminars?

(How can teachers use this in their classes?)

Spend your dots- Give a weighted opinion.Look in your glass and take out the strip

of paper with colored dots on it.

Each dot is one ‘vote”. You may split your vote any way you like in order to give a weighted opinion.

Let’s get a quick read of what you liked best, so far. Spend your dots!

How can you use this?
