Log Monitoring Configuration

General

The APSS installer handles most configuration tasks required by the installer. When a Log Monitoring engine is already

configured, the APSS installer automatically creates APSS Log Monitoring policies.

In the event that a Log Monitoring engine is not configured prior to installing APSS, the apss_setup workflow can be used to

configure the Log Monitoring policies automatically.

Setup Log Monitoring Policies Manually

It is only necessary to manually configure APSS Log Monitoring policies when a Log Monitoring engine is not configured prior

to installing APSS.

The following steps are used to configure these policies:

1. Click on Workflows in the CommCell Browser

11

2. Right Click and Execute the apss_setup workflow

3. On the Workflow Inputs screen select Log Monitoring Config and click OK

a. No other workflow inputs are required.
