Gifts Celebration WeekendGifts Celebration Weekend

Shows gratitude for the many gifts God has given us.

Publicly thanks people for sharing their gifts with others.

Makes known to ALL parishioners how gifts are shared in the parish community.

Makes connections between giftedness and the Sunday Liturgy. AND...

Inspires others to recognize, use and share their gifts at home, work, community and parish!

Part of an Annual Renewal Process for Time and Talent(that ultimately leads to Commitment Weekend).

Supported by: Bulletin Inserts, Bulletin and Pulpit Announcements, General Intercessions, Homilies, Lay Witness and of course,THE CELEBRATION!

Gifts CelebrationGifts Celebration is NOT...is NOT...

NOT a “Thank You” Party Exclusively for Ministers (make party separate).

NOT a Recruitment Vehicle for New Ministers.

NOT a Replacement for Annual Renewal of Commitment.

NOT an Unplanned Happening.

NOT only limited to a Time and Talent Fair.
