AA TRAINING CAMP We are a little over a month away from our first ski week of the 2018-19 Season. Steamboat is ready for AA and our guests. I’ll cover some of the“basics” for Steamboat in this E-blast, but rest assured, we willsend a final “hot sheet” with all the final “deals” and last minuteinfo the week before Training Camp. (He's assuming he can get ahold of the Newsletter Editor who's going to be on a cruise in theWestern Caribbean! ED.) SNOW CONDITIONSSteamboat already has “some” natural snow and thetemperatures have been conducive to making snow the past weekor so. This is a great sign. Snowmaking temps are usually lateNovember, but they are ahead of the game this year. GETTING TO STEAMBOATUnfortunately AA will not begin service to Steamboat until afterour Training Camp. The easiest place for AAers to Non-Rev to isDenver (DIA), although Eagle Vail (EGE) is an option. If you feellucky, you can also ZED on UA Express to Hayden (HDN). Remember Eagle and Hayden have very limited service this timeof year and if the weather is questionable, it’s quicker to drive. If you arrive in Denver, I suggest getting with your room/condomates and renting cars/vans. The other option is to call "Go Alpine". If you ask for a NAASF(North American Airline Ski Federation) discount you can savemoney. Go Alpine requires a reservation so don’t show upthinking you can grab a ride.Go Alpine Reservations1-970-879-2800Toll Free: 1-800-343-RIDE (7433)
