GHOSTS OF THE PAST Tony Park is the author of 16 novels set in Africa and six non- fiction biographies. Ghosts of the Past (released in August 2019) goes back in time to trace the journey of an intrepid Australian adventurer, a South African soldier and an Irish-German spy…and the search for a missing hoard of gold! Impeccably researched and based on a true story, Ghosts of the Past spans two centuries and it explores some fascinating elements of the Anglo-Boer War, Namibia’s little-known history as well as the elusive Namibian desert horses. Tony Park grew up in Sydney and has worked as a newspaper reporter, a press secretary, a PR consultant and a freelance writer. He also served 34 years in the Australian Army Reserve, including six months as a public affairs officer in Afghanistan in 2002. He and his wife, Nicola, divide their time equally between Australia and Southern Africa where they own a home on the border of the Kruger National Park.
