Oslofjord Convention Center is the first conference campus in northern europe specially designed to nurture culture, create enthusiasm, and build relationships within large organizations. We offer overnight accommodation for thousands of guests, the largest conference hall in Norway, a media center, a variety of meeting facilities, a beach and recreational area, a restaurant and cafeteria, and the expanse of the fjord just beyond the wharf.
To build a successful company, effective
strategies are essential, but to realize these
strategies, every individual within the orga-
nization must actively participate, pulling in
the same direction. This requires a strong
and adaptable company culture.
At Oslofjord we provide everything you need
to build and nurture such a culture.
We reckon that even large companies need
opportunities to spend quality time together,
time to share little moments, socialize, and
enjoy their surroundings – as well as time to
share and define great goals.
Welcome!

Norway or beyond. It is a 1 ½ hour drive
from Oslo on good roads, two hours from
Oslo Gardermoen Airport, and only twenty
minutes from the Torp Airport in Sandefjord.
There are also frequent train connections
between Oslo Gardermoen Airport and both
Tønsberg and Stokke.
Ferry services to both Denmark and Sweden
are found within a 40 minute drive of

ThE CONfErENCE hallS
Oslofjord Convention Center is characterized by its multi-purpose and flexible event solutions, with seating for 500 to 6,000 persons. In addition, the center is equipped with state of the art technical equipment including a direct satellite broadcast system, a media center, and one of the best sound systems in Norway.
The very best of experiences is to be found
in the conference hall, Norway’s largest,
covering 4,800 m2 and providing seating for
6,800 with standing room for 700. From
comfortable seating you can enjoy a show
with high resolution images projected onto
three large screens, accompanied by one of
the best sound systems in Norway. Even those
seated in the very back of the hall can see
everything taking place on the stage. In spite
of the size, the hall is warm and inviting,
and unused areas in the hall can be partially
concealed through the use of portable walls,
making it well suited to smaller groups also.

Oslofjord is not only sea, sand and beautiful natural surroundings, it is state of the art technology systems as well.
The conference center is equipped for big
screen and TV production and has many 50”
monitors installed around the center. These
screens are used to deliver information to
our guests, or to directly transmit the events
being held in the main conference hall to
other locations. We also have our own up-link
station for satellite broadcasts as well as IP-TV
distribution. A simultaneous interpretation
system is available for 20 languages, with an
option to translate 13 languages remotely,
thereby ensuring the quality of international
meetings and congresses.
From the heart of the center, we offer special
media and technical facilities, enabling us,
for example, to transmit the TV broadcast,
“Good Morning, Oslofjord!” directly from
the studio to all the apartments, rooms and
small cabins at Oslofjord.

Oslofjord sets itself apart as a Nordic event destination able to accommodate large numbers of overnight guests.
If your organization is in pursuit of good
dreams, few locations can compete with
Oslofjord Convention Center. We have 700
units available with up to 3,000 beds, all on
campus. The apartments are modern and
bright and come complete with a living room,
sleeping quarters, kitchen and bathroom, as
well as Internet access and IP-TV, making it
possible to follow all the proceedings in the
main conference hall. All the apartments are
non-smoking.
During events for more than 2,500 persons,
the atmosphere is informal, very social and
immediate as a number of guests will be
housed in a shared apartment. This offers
many an opportunity to get better acquainted.
Hotel Standard
Oslofjord can offer hotel rooms for all closed-
campus events or conferences. Nearly
every need can be met by our flexible hotel
facilities, both for smaller conferences and
for large international congresses.
The little village
Below the conference center building, Oslo-
fjord has its own idyllic garden village, where
500 welcoming cabins in varying sizes line
the paths. The cabins are modern and bright,
and come complete with a living room, bed-
room, kitchen and bathroom. Each cabin has
Internet access and IP-TV so our guests can
wake up to our own breakfast-TV program.
Guests at Oslofjord save precious time other-
wise spent traveling between hotels and the
conference center. Here, it’s all in one place.

Oslofjord offers a wide variety of dining experiences; indeed, everything from an exclusive restaurant to a coffee bar and cafeteria, as well as a fast-food restaurant, ice cream parlor, and a variety of smaller food and snack kiosks.
Dining together is an experience that
fosters good conversation and togetherness.
Oslofjord provides many opportunities for
pleasant mealtimes. We can serve large
numbers of guests anything from a three
course banquet dinner to a simple meal.
Fine Dining
The conference hall is ideal for banquets
and can be arranged for a large number of
guests. Our banquet service accommodates
a three course meal for as many as 2,500
guests. The Oasen Cafeteria, which lies wall
to wall with the conference hall itself, can
seat up to 1,000 persons for either a banquet
or a buffet.
Casual Dining
Oslofjord can also offer more casual food
service, such as a grill buffet, simple dinner
meals in our cafeteria or a shellfish plate at
our seafood café down by the beach.
We have also developed a unique product for
large groups that prefer a simple but effective
method of food service. We can serve a good
meal, delivered in tasteful food cartons, to as
many as 6,000 guests in the course of a few
minutes.

Do you have big ideas for your company? We do too! Over the course of the next few years, we plan to invest approxomately 130 millon Euro to develop the area around Oslofjord. Our goal is to make the center one of Europe’s prime event destinations for large companies and organizations.
This will involve a building expansion to
include such elements as a sports facility,
additional accommodation facilities, and a
beach trail, to mention a few.
Our plans include upgrading the services we
deliver by further investing in our employees’
service, logistics, and practical skills.

How do we motivate and inspire people, and nurture closer relationships? By experiencing things together!
Oslofjord is an immense operation. At the
same time, the little moments are the most
special experiences we can offer you. Sand
between your toes, balmy evenings alive with
the murmur of conversation outside the little
Nordic cabins, concerts, football matches,
rippling waves, and the cry of seagulls
overhead.
The success of a conference or kick-off is
dependent on how well the company’s big
ideas, strategies and visions are projected
to and absorbed by the entire organization.
Perhaps this can best be achieved by
gathering people in a social setting for a
good time together. On our campus, absolutely
everything is in one place, a place that offers
a whole fjord of experiences from which you
can draw.
