The Irvine-Ravenna Woman’s Club had a productive session at their May meet- ing towards their motto of “Committed to Service.” Club members completed three projects. Names were listed on luminarias in memory or in honor of per- sons to be recognized at the Estill County Relay for Life on Friday, June 10. Members brought personal care items for the clientele at Horizon Adult Day Care to thank the center for the use of their building for the Student Art Show during the Mountain Mushroom Festival. Also members double bagged and folded like colored bags for the Estill County Food Bank to use for their food distribution. The local club was organized in 1954 and has served the needs of the community through a broad range of projects and programs throughout the years. Anyone wishing to join may contact any club member. Tina Pasley is the club president. The club brought personal care items to their May club meeting as a thank you for the use of the Horizon Day Care building for the Student Art Show at the Mountain Mushroom Festival.
