Express Ferry back to Long Beach at 1AM on both FRIDAY and SATURDAY night.

GETTING AROUND ISLAND SHUTTLES: All venues are within walking distance, although the festival will supply certain shuttles to venues located further away from downtown Avalon. CATALINA ISLAND TRANSPORTATION: If you’re running tight on time to your next event (and don’t want to walk), there is a cash only island taxi service that is available to you. ATTIRE OVERVIEW The Catalina Film Festival is held on a beautiful sub-tropical Island during the fall season, where temperatures can range from the 65-90 degrees Fahrenheit (13-32 degrees Celsius). Therefore, coordinating your daytime and night-time outfits with The Catalina Film Festival’s dress code is key. Most of our festival daytime events are casual, with cocktail attire expected for evening events. Please note that the Friday night Premiere screenings and Gala are Red Carpet style calling for suits and dresses and the Saturday night Premiere Gala and Red Carpet is black tie – tuxes & gowns.
