Noting BT decision D136/033 to set back project 16623 to PWI stage, SC9XA resolves to initiate a survey group within WGA4-2 with the remit of identifying the characteristics of train detection that need to be defined, with the objective of initiating a New Work Item

Way forward
•SC9XA issues the report of the survey group to all National Committees for 2 month enquiry to finalise the new mandate for WGA4-2.•WGA4-2 starts work immediately, to avoid further delay to the introduction of Interoperability•WGA4-2 remains a joint WG. New members are welcome.
