AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE AS AN “ESTATES DIRECTOR”

_______________________________ (Dilbeck Sales Associate) elects to participate in the Dilbeck Estates Program as an “Estates Director”. Benefits:

• Use of the “Estates Director” title on business cards, biographic and estates marketing materials • Following provided by Dilbeck

o Initial order of 500 Dilbeck Estates business cards and 100 sheets of personalized stationery with envelopes.

Dilbeck Marketing Policy Standards Picture Quality

There have been a few comments that some of our newspaper pictures are too dark, too light, or are just

not good quality reproductions. We are working diligently with the newspaper publications to deliver

faithful reproductions of your photos. Although we often find printing errors by the newspapers, the

major problem is the quality of many pictures we receive from our Sales Associates. The problem is not

necessarily due to the quality of camera used but rather the settings used when taking pictures. In an

effort to achieve consistent and professional quality for all marketing materials, we have established the

following policy of acceptable standards.

PICTURE QUALITY STANDARDS

All photos submitted to Marketing must meet or exceed the following standards

• Minimum standards for Newspaper photos: 1024 x 768 at a “Fine” quality

setting

• Minimum standards for Color Flyer photos: 2,000+ pixels by 1,500+ pixels at a “Fine” or

“Super Fine” quality setting

Meeting Photo Quality Standards

Today, most digital cameras will shoot pictures within a range of 3.2 mega-pixels to 8.0 or more mega-

pixels. Any camera with capabilities within that range will deliver a good image for newspaper

reproduction. Most digital cameras also have resolution settings.

Resolution refers to the amount of digital information a picture contains, the higher the resolution, the

higher the clarity and quality. Cameras generally have the following resolutions available: 640x480,

1024x768, 1600x1200 and higher. When you are taking pictures for printing (newspapers or flyers) you

must use the highest setting available on your camera. Why are the lower settings available? They are

used if you want to take more pictures than your digital storage will hold, were you to use the highest

setting. You can take more pictures, but the quality will suffer. Always use the highest resolution

settings available on your camera. If storage is a problem, take fewer, quality pictures.

There is a second important camera setting. It is called “Image Quality / Image Compression.” Lower

image compression results in blurry and grainy pictures. Typically most cameras will label these settings:

Economy / Basic / Low, or Normal / Fine / High and or Super Fine. Always use the High, or (if available)

Super Fine setting.

Do not send us photos from the Internet or the MLS. These images are typically sized to about 400

pixels wide, which results in a very poor printed image. You may send your photos to us via email.

However, if you are sending through third-party software, such as Kodak Easy Share, be aware of a

possible prompt before you send. The prompt may say something like, “Do you want to send email

size or original size.” Sending “email size” makes the image file smaller (poorer quality) because

some Internet providers have a limit on file size. This is not a problem with Dilbeck email. Always

select “Original Size.” The prompt may use different terminology but you get the idea.

Dilbeck lOGO RequiReMents:Our logos graphically represent the Dilbeck Real Estate brand in the minds of consumers. We are proud of the brand equity we have built for our name and ask you to display our logos proudly in all of your marketing materials.

All logos must be as large as possible, while being proportionate to the overall graphic presentation. All advertisements of “real estate services” must display the Dilbeck logo in a reasonable and readily apparent manner. Under no circumstance may the proportion of Dilbeck to the branding statement be altered.

Use of the words, “Dilbeck Real Estate”, may not be used in lieu of a Dilbeck logo.

Dilbeck estates anD chRistie’s lOGO RequiReMents:When used alone, the Dilbeck Estates roofline is gold. When used with the Christies logo, the Dilbeck roofline is platinum. The Christie’s logo must always run with Dilbeck Estates. Dilbeck Estates and Christie’s logos must be used in the porportions shown. Use of the words, “Dilbeck Estates Christies’ International Real Estates”, may not be used in lieu of a logo.

leaDinG Real estate cOMPanies OF the WORlD ® RequiReMents:First mention in consumer facing text must be: Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. Subsequent mentions can be LeadingRE®. At no time should “The” be used as an article preceeding Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®.

When co-branding any material, use a LeadingRE logo that is porportional to the Dilbeck Logo. Sizing of each logo should be equal. Logos may be stacked vertically or placed side-by-side. Each logo should NOT be positioned so close that they appear as one unified mark. LeadingRE logos are one color only: Black, 80% black or white.

luxuY PORtFOliO lOGO RequiReMentsThe Luxury Portfolio logo must be used with a Dilbeck logo, Dilbeck Estates logo or Dilbeck Estates Christies logo, and should be no larger than the Dilbeck logo.
