institutions, and processes for

creating, communicating, delivering,

and exchanging offerings that have

value for customers, clients,

partners, and society at large.

First: specify your product or service.

The marketing department specify the products or services that the company will provide.

In order to do that, it has to do a market research to know customers needs.

Two: market research

Market research is a process that is never end.

Every thing you do should have its own research.

three: know your competitors

Not only marketing department should know their competition but also put the strategies that they will compete with and achieve long and short terms.

Four: setting the price

Although many department may share in this point , the marketing department has the upper hand as they know how much customers are willing to pay.

Five: distribution channels

In which places should we put our products.

Should we have direct selling or not?

Six: promotion

Promotion is not only about advertising , sales are a main function in promotions specially in B2B sectors.
