Problem

• Current method of attaching a device to a cord flexor is not reliable

• We had to make a universal clamping device • Clamp to current fixture• Clamp to be portable• Clamp to be universal• Must allow cord to rotate

Beginning Ideas

C Clamp

• Has a crank to adjust the size of handle• Doesn’t encompass the entire handle

Band Clamp

• A good way to encompass entire handle• However range of size for each clamp is small

Strap Wrench

• Allows a wide range of handle size• Handle will have o be modified to fit on the

fixture

Modifications for the Strap Wrench

• Most of the handle is chopped of to fit on the existing fixture

• A way to attach to existing fixture• A way to rotate wrench 90°• A way of keeping strap tightened
